Yin went back home. He lives with his little sister, Miuer, father, and mother. Each year, a blood airs village gathers to compete in an arena.
Winners are rewarded with rare herbs to make pills that help with cultivation, which is the key to growing stronger and improving martial arts skills. The competition is the talk of the village, and every participant hopes to win the valuable reward.
It's a dream that many chase, including Yin.
One afternoon, Yin was walking to gather grass to feed the cows. The sun hung low in the sky, casting a warm golden glow on the landscape.
As he moved through the fields, he saw Bohang, a wealthy and arrogant boy from a powerful family, bullying his friend Chen. Chen was crouched on the ground, his face bruised and eyes full of fear, while Bohang stood over him, smirking.
Yin couldn't stand to watch. He ran toward them, his heart pounding in his chest. When he reached them, he shouted.
"What the hell are you doing? Leave Chen alone!"
Bohang looked at him with a sneer.
"Huh, a low family with no fighting skills. You're good for none. It's better if you don't interfere, otherwise, you'll meet your premise here."
Yin's eyes narrowed in anger. He was already tired of Bohang's arrogant attitude, and this was the last straw.
"Just because you are elder's cousin and wealthy doesn't mean you are strong,"
Yin said, his voice firm and challenging.
The two boys squared off. Bohang, relying on his superior strength and skills, quickly launched an attack. Yin, though not a trained fighter, fought back with what little he knew, using speed and agility to avoid Bohang's strikes.
He dodged and countered, but Bohang's skill was overwhelming. The fight didn't last long, and Yin was soon on the ground, panting and exhausted.
Bohang grinned, standing over him.
"If you think you're capable, come to the arena competition after three months. Maybe then you'll learn your place."
Yin, humiliated and frustrated, staggered to his feet. His mind was racing.
How can I defeat him? What skills do I need to learn?
He had no formal training in martial arts and was unsure where to begin.
With a sigh, he left the scene, his thoughts consumed by the challenge ahead. The arena competition was his only chance to prove himself, but he needed to learn skills—real skills—and fast.
Later that evening, after a long, exhausting day, Yin sat by the riverside. He found a smooth stone along the bank and sat down, staring at the water as it rippled gently in the fading light.
The cool evening air brushed against his skin, but his mind was still preoccupied with the events of the day.
He turned the small dragon-shaped locket around his neck in his fingers, absentmindedly fiddling with it.
Suddenly, the locket made a loud cracking sound. Yin froze. A sparkling light burst from the seams of the dragon locket, illuminating the area with a strange, shimmering glow.
Yin instinctively pulled the locket away from his neck, staring at it in confusion. The light grew brighter, and then, to his horror, the locket seemed to come alive.
Before he could react, a strange force swept through him, and he felt his soul being pulled into the locket.
He tried to scream, to call out for help, but his voice wouldn't come. His body felt weightless, and he found himself falling, spiraling into the light. His eyes blurred, his vision swimming as if he were plunging through a thick fog. Then, in an instant, everything stopped.
"Hi, I am Sheng, we are in the locket that you wear," came a calm voice.
Yin's heart raced as he blinked, trying to make sense of what had just happened. He was no longer by the river; instead, he found himself in a strange, large heavenly space.
actually it was yins Spiritual realms. It was unlike anything he had ever seen before—an ethereal realm that seemed to stretch on forever.
The air was heavy with the scent of incense, and there was a faint, shimmering light that illuminated the area.
Yin's eyes adjusted, and he looked around, seeing strange symbols floating in the air. He was no longer standing on solid ground, but hovering in the space, weightless. His hands trembled as he tried to reach for something—anything to anchor himself.
Panic set in, and he attempted to run, but his feet didn't touch anything. He was trapped, unable to move.
"Ahhhah ahh!"
Yin screamed, his voice high with fear, but no sound escaped his lips.
"Shhh,"
the voice said again, calm and soothing, almost as if it were speaking directly to his soul. The voice wasn't loud, but it held an undeniable authority. Yin's body stopped moving, frozen in place.
In the distance, Yin noticed something strange—an egg, enormous and glowing faintly. It was about the size of his own body, and it seemed to pulse with an otherworldly energy.
The egg was surrounded by swirling, soft lights, and as Yin gazed at it, he felt an inexplicable pull toward it. His fear slowly ebbed away, replaced by an odd sense of curiosity.
"What is this place?"
Yin muttered, though no one answered.
He stepped closer to the egg, his movements slow and cautious. The closer he got, the more he felt as though something was calling to him, urging him to understand.
What was this egg? What was it doing here, in this strange, liminal space? And who was Sheng, the voice that had spoken to him?
Yin's mind raced with questions, but before he could ask, the voice spoke again, this time more clearly.
"You've been chosen,"
Sheng's voice echoed, though Yin couldn't tell where it was coming from. "The egg... it is yours. It will help you. But first, you must prove your worth."
Yin didn't understand, but the strange presence and the glowing egg filled him with a sense of destiny.
He had no idea what this meant or how it was connected to the challenge in the arena, but somehow, he felt that this was the key to his strength—his only hope to defeat Bohang and earn his place in the world.
In the locket's ethereal space, Yin stood frozen, the enormous egg looming before him. What was its true power? And what did it mean for his future?
As the light from the egg flickered, Yin took a deep breath, determined to uncover the truth.
Sheng's voice echoed, though Yin couldn't tell where it was coming from. "The egg... it is yours. It will help you. But first, you must prove your worth."
"but judging you, you are very weak and only first level 2 star."
