Magic Instructor: "ENOUGH!" (With a firm and loud voice)
Everyone fell silent instantly, except for Vin.
Vin, with a cold stare, looked at the Magic Instructor. He realized it was the same Mage he had encountered at the entrance gate of Devoria City.
Vin: "You again?" (With a cold gaze and a soft voice)
The atmosphere around Dilveria Academy became eerily quiet. Even students who were merely strolling around the academy stopped to witness the scene.
Mage: "I didn't expect you'd manage to get in here, cripple." (With an angry face, slightly raising his chin)
Vin: "Cripple?" (Replying softly but with sharp eyes)
Vin gripped his sword tightly. His left eye and the eye on his sword glowed with the same red hue.
Mage: "That red left eye of yours, like the eye of the Red Dragon Demon. You're not human. Without any aura, you're nothing but trash." (Staring seriously at Vin)
The Mage drew a long staff from his right hand, a staff with a crystal orb at its tip.
Vin: "And so?" (Vin replied, and the aura around him subtly shifted)
Dikarus: "After insulting me, you still dare act so insolently, TRASH!" (With a furious glare and a raised voice)
Vin: "You're just slaves." (With a short and straightforward reply)
Elf: "No..." (Her face saddened, her eyes welling with tears)
Elf: "I don't want this to happen." (In a sorrowful tone as tears streamed down her cheeks)
The Elf closed her eyes, and in an instant, everything that had happened vanished. Nothing remained, empty and void in her eyes.
She woke from her dream, tears still running down her face.
Elf: "I don't want that to happen." (Looking towards the academy entrance with a soft voice)
Vin: "What's wrong?" (Looking at the Elf in confusion)
Renz: "What's going on?" (Turning to Vin, then glancing at the Elf)
The Elf quickly wiped her tears and turned her face away.
Elf: "No, it's nothing." (Sniffling as she wiped her tears)
Vin's eyes were still red. Just before the time-rewinding incident, he briefly saw the Elf from the corner of his eye.
Vin: (I feel something strange. This event should have already passed.) (Trying to recall while keeping his eyes on the Elf)
Vin's eyes returned to normal, and he realized something special about this Elf.
Elf: "I'm fine. It's better if we step away from this door for now." (Though her voice still sounded sad, she looked back at Vin and Renz)
The Elf's emotions shifted quickly, but her tone and gaze still carried the sadness of what had occurred.
Vin: (My eyes weren't wrong when I saw the aura emitted by this Elf.) (Glancing back at the academy entrance)
Renz: "I still don't understand." (Looking at Vin)
Vin: "Forget it. I agree we should move for now." (Patting Renz on the shoulder)
Renz: "Why?" (Trying to understand Vin's words)
Elf: "I want to show you something interesting." (Looking at Renz)
Random Person behind Vin: "Hey, are you guys coming in or not?" (Sounding annoyed as he looked at Vin, Renz, and the Elf)
Vin: "You all go ahead. We'll step away for a bit." (Looking at the speaker)
Vin descended the stairs, followed by the Elf and Renz. As they walked, they started conversing.
Renz: "Hey, Vin. Are you serious? Our goal was to go in there." (Looking annoyed at Vin)
Vin: "Just follow me. I've got another plan. Besides, we haven't eaten anything yet." (Fixing his messy hair)
Elf: "There's also something I want to show you." (Looking at Renz)
Renz: "You've been saying that from earlier. What is it?" (Looking at the Elf, clearly annoyed)
Elf: "I'll show you later." (Responding with a faint smile)
Vin: "I want to explore this city first. I'm looking for some good food." (Gazing toward the city)
Vin observed his surroundings. He noticed the green grass lining the pathways around Dilveria Academy.
Renz: "Alright, I'll come with you, Vin." (Renz walked to Vin's right side)
Elf: "You two are really close, huh?" (Catching up to Vin's left side and walking with them)
Renz: "Of course, we've been friends since childhood." (Smiling faintly)
Vin: "My name is Vin Crimson, and this is Renz Xinolen. What about you?" (Glancing at the Elf)
They finally reached the academy gate, the same spot where Vin and Renz had met the Elf earlier.
The Elf paused briefly and introduced herself to Vin and Renz. They stopped walking as she did.
Elf: "I'm from the Valiky Elf race. My name is Jeannie Althea. Nice to meet you." (Smiling at Vin)
Renz: "Nice to meet you, Jeannie." (Smiling back at her)
Vin: "A Valiky Elf, huh? It's a pleasure to see you, Jeannie." (Vin smiled faintly)
Jeannie: "You know about Elves, Vin?" (Walking closer to him)
Vin: "A little. I've studied them before." (Looking at Jeannie to his left)
Renz: "That's just how Vin is. He's smart, but he's lazy." (Smirking and teasing Vin)
Jeannie: "Oh, is that so? It does seem like he's been too lazy to show much expression, haha." (Smiling and laughing while looking at Vin)
Vin: "I simply don't see the need to exaggerate my expressions." (With a blank face, looking at Jeannie)
Jeannie: "Oh really? Why is that?" (Curiously asking Vin)
Vin didn't answer and chose to walk ahead.
Renz and Jeannie followed, walking alongside him as they wandered through Devoria City.
Unknown Female Voice:
Jeannie Althea, is this the plan?
