I thought, lost in my thoughts. Honestly, I somewhat expected to win, but not with this much ease!
On the ground lay Yu Yan, completely knocked out and unable to fight back. It was, without a doubt, a crushing defeat.
Once again, the hundreds of spectators were frozen in disbelief, unable to process the feat I had just achieved. It took nearly five minutes before cheers and shouts of congratulations finally broke the silence.
"Well, at least they have a sense of honor…"
I muttered under my breath.
As I walked backstage, under the stunned gazes of the other participants, I quickly called out to Byeok, summoning him from my shadow. Still invisible to everyone but me, he floated into view:
"Hey, Byeok, do you know why I beat her so easily?"
I asked, still bewildered by my sudden victory.
