Isabella's POV
I raised my hand, my face folding as I winced in my pain, my teeth tightening against each other.
A sharp pain hit in my skull as I woke up, my body sinking into the soft mattress.
My mouth felt dry, my throat burned inside, the faint scent of alcohol clinging to my skin hit my nostrils. I let out a small groan, I shifted slightly, the movement made the pounding in my head worse.
I opened my eyes examining the room, my eyes flared realizing I wasn't in my room.

I felt my breath cut at my throat as the memories of last night flickered through my mind in disjointed fragments.
The taste of alcohol on my lips. The way my emotions had gotten out of control. The weight of his arms lifting me, carrying me up the stairs. His face, cold and unreadable.
