Lyra's eyes narrowed. "You're using the Shadow Weavers for the Council's gain."
Arachne's smile twisted. "We share a common goal: control of Aethoria."
Ryker's gaze locked onto Arachne. "You're manipulating the Council, using them for your own agenda."
Arachne's laughter echoed through the chamber. "You're so naive, Ryker. The Council thinks they're using me, but I'm the one pulling the strings."

Kael stepped forward, his eyes flashing with anger.
"You're lying," Kael spat. "My sister was a Shadow Weaver. She wouldn't have joined your cause."
Arachne's expression turned cold. "Ah, Kael. You're so blind to the truth. Your sister was one of us, and she died for our cause."
Kael's face paled. "No...that's not true."
Lyra's heart went out to Kael. "We'll get through this together," she whispered.
