Chapter 63 - Chapter 63: The Legend of the Condor Heroes in Dorm 101

Chen Hanxing took the new agreement, which clearly stated that the total collection volume for the four schools would reach 1,000 packages per day, with a commission of 1 yuan per package. Although the standard had been raised again, Chen Hanxing had a clear understanding of it and signed the agreement promptly.

The agreement had two copies, and Zhong Jiancheng needed to sign it as well. While writing, he asked, "Can you use the abandoned rooms in your school now?"

"The keys have been obtained, just need to clean them up in the next couple of days," Chen Hanxing replied.

Zhong Jiancheng nodded in satisfaction. With the signing of the agreement, Chen Hanxing and Zhong Jiancheng were, in some sense, now business partners. Chen's platform and abilities were impressive, and with several thousand students in the surrounding universities, Zhong Jiancheng was increasingly optimistic about this market.

"Do you need any further support from my side?" Zhong Jiancheng asked out of concern.

Chen Hanxing was not modest at all: "I'd like to apply for some publicity funds. The promotion in these four schools is very poor and needs a rebranding."

"How much do you plan to apply for?" Zhong Jiancheng asked.

"About 5,000 yuan," Chen Hanxing said. This amount would cover banners, flyers, and some short-distance transport tools.

However, Zhong Jiancheng didn't immediately agree.

"Manager Chen, if you were my direct subordinate, I'd approve the 5,000 yuan right away, but your business model is too independent. I'm not involved in your day-to-day activities, so I can only collect the money."

Chen Hanxing emphasized, "Zhong Manager, I'm still your subordinate."

Zhong Jiancheng shook his head: "That's only in name. You're more like an independent contractor. However, I can lend you the 5,000 yuan without a written agreement, but it will need to be repaid."

Chen Hanxing thought for a moment and agreed: "Alright, I'll borrow it."

Zhong Jiancheng took out 5,000 yuan in cash and placed it on the table, saying, "Meng Xuedong is preparing to resign. He's going to join a newly established express company, Zhongtong, as a campus agent."

"Fine," Chen Hanxing said indifferently, "It doesn't matter where he goes, but if someone takes my market, I'll crush their rice bowl."

---

Meanwhile, Xie Xiaoyu and the others were downstairs waiting. After discussing, they concluded that Vice Minister Chen had probably gone to secure sponsorship.

However, they weren't optimistic about the amount. Xu Mengzhu smirked, saying, "That company is falling apart. I think 200 yuan sponsorship would be good enough."

Wang Yansong and He Bing were discussing where to go next. After a while, Chen Hanxing walked down, carrying a bag.

They gathered around him and asked, "Vice Minister, how much sponsorship did you manage to get? Where are we heading next?"

Chen Hanxing was puzzled: "Of course, we're going back to the school."

"What about the 1,000 yuan sponsorship?" Xie Xiaoyu quickly asked.

Chen Hanxing dramatically opened the bag, revealing stacks of colorful bills: "There's 5,000 yuan here. Is that enough?"

"Enough! That's plenty!" Xie Xiaoyu exclaimed, her mouth agape. "You actually raised so much sponsorship!"

"I told you, you can't learn much in the student union. As soon as I made my move, the problem was solved."

Though Chen Hanxing's words sounded a bit smug, the fact remained that 5,000 yuan was quietly lying in the bag.

On the way back to the school, the new members of the student union had mixed feelings. On one hand, they were discouraged because Chen Hanxing's performance was so impressive that it overshadowed everyone else in the external relations department, even though Qi Wei and Yao Qingguo had worked hard. On the other hand, they were excited. Young people are always curious about things that exceed their understanding, and they were eager to learn how Chen Hanxing communicated with the business partners.

Amid the mixture of emotions, the atmosphere was a bit tense.

Chen Hanxing, smoking a cigarette and walking behind, felt the timing was right and suddenly spoke up: "Actually, working part-time besides the student union is a great way to train yourself. The student union is volunteer work, but part-time jobs can earn you money."

Xu Mengzhu glanced at him and asked, "But where do you find part-time jobs? I don't want to work in the library or cafeteria; I feel restricted cleaning tables or shelving books."

He Bing agreed with this viewpoint, adding, "The library and cafeteria have very limited interaction. I want to train my social skills through more communication."

"Actually, it doesn't matter where you work; what matters most is your attitude," Chen Hanxing disagreed, but didn't argue further. "I happen to have a part-time position available. You won't have to clean tables, and there are lots of opportunities for external communication."

"What position?" He Bing asked curiously.

They had reached the first floor of the F Building, and Chen Hanxing pointed at two abandoned storage rooms: "A courier company plans to set up a station here. I'm the station manager, and I need people urgently. I'm recruiting right now."

"Whoever joins first will be an original member. You'll not only gain experience but also get good benefits. After reaching certain targets, we can provide a small phone or even a mobile phone."

As he spoke, Chen Hanxing casually pulled out his phone and wiped the screen.

"Vice Minister, what exactly will we do?" Wang Yansong asked, looking at the phone with envy.

"Hand out flyers, visit dormitories, negotiate projects—basically, we need to raise awareness of F Building 101 across the campus so that everyone knows they can send packages here," Chen Hanxing explained.

"This is a student union-supported entrepreneurial project. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to take these rooms."

"From now on, we'll be both colleagues in the student union and partners on the part-time entrepreneurial path."

"You won't face any risks, as I will bear all the risks. But you need to follow the team's orders and deepen your sense of cooperation."

---

Under Chen Hanxing's gentle persuasion, Xie Xiaoyu, who was somewhat adventurous, decided to give it a try.

"Vice Minister, if I take this part-time job, will Senior Qi Wei have an issue?"

Chen Hanxing rolled his eyes: "What can she say? If it's really a problem, I'll recruit her as well. The external relations department will become F Building 101, and F Building 101 will become the external relations department."

"Alright, I'll take the job," Xie Xiaoyu immediately agreed. Seeing her decision, the others felt there was no harm in trying.

"Thank you for your trust. F Building 101 will become famous in the Financial College!" Chen Hanxing declared.

The young freshmen, lacking social experience, didn't realize that if Zhong Jiancheng were present, he would have noticed Chen Hanxing was downplaying the "Shentong Express" brand in favor of "F Building 101."

"Our team will grow bigger and bigger. To make it more interesting and recognizable, let's each pick a nickname or alias."

Chen Hanxing set the scope: "Let's choose names from Jin Yong's novels. I'll be Zhang Wuji. The rest of you can pick freely."

Xie Xiaoyu, curious, asked: "Vice Minister, why Zhang Wuji?"

"I think he's too indecisive. He has both Zhou Zhiruo and Xiao Zhao, yet he still marries Zhao Min. I want to change his hesitant nature. Adults shouldn't be so indecisive," Chen Hanxing laughed.

"Vice Minister, you're quite the ladies' man," someone teased.

"We'll tell your girlfriend!" another said.

"Quick, shut us up with a cup of milk tea!" someone else shouted.

Chen Hanxing's comment immediately bridged the gap between the new team members, and Xie Xiaoyu excitedly said, "I'll be Huang Rong."

Xu Mengzhu was not to be outdone: "I'll be Mu Nianci. I loved her in 'The Legend of the Condor Heroes.'"

"I'll be Duan Yu."

Wang Yansong also claimed a classic character.

He Bing mischievously called out, "Then I'll be Duan Zhengchun."

"Hey, you're not allowed to be my father!" Chen Hanxing responded.
