"When the many are reduced to the
One.... " — we find the underlying Physical meaning:
The attempt here is to lead the reader to the insight that, once surrounded by his fellows, in any sort of social grouping, each of us takes from them our memories and experiences of their lives, as well as our own; but that, in so doing, when we look at the true reality of the situation more closely, we find that each of us, in doing this, has become, at least in part, not merely any longer only himself, but the entire group as well. Thus, by analogy, the same interjective process works finally to bring each of us, as a unit, to be all, and not merely part, of humanity. We are, truly, all those who interact with us, however suddenly and remotely.
If we go little further:
The idea here is not to show an identity between god(any religion God) and his worshippers, but to show such an identity between any god, in any of his manifestations, and all the that believe in him; i.e., one cannot worship a deity without incorporating yourself into him and him into you. Through the interchange of worship, man becomes god, and god becomes man.
