Chapter 5 - Don't

Don't read me, because to read me is to be lost. My letters are confusing, my phrases are labyrinths, my stories are just stumbles in the dark. Don't look at me, for I am just a shadow. A quick flash of light that disappears as soon as it appears, a reflection. Don't think about me, because thinking about me is thinking about yourself, about a disfigured and terrible image you don't want to see. Don't follow me, because to follow me is to follow the wind, to touch the invisible, to be part of a breeze, to feel that everything is out of reach. Don't believe me, because everything I say is a lie. Beautiful lies, horrible lies, lies that get lost between thousands of other words. Don't read me, because to read is to be lost. Letters are confusing, phrases are labyrinths. And you only stumble in the dark, searching for shadows, remembering a flash of light, following the wind, remembering a lie lost in a thousand other words.
