The Male Twin's POV: Time 1 hour before the Hogwarts Express leaves.
Mom has decided to run me ragged this morning, ensuring everything is packed and ready for my time at Hogwarts. "Mom I have told you, It is already packed and ready now could you stop fussing about my hair so I can eat the breakfast Dixie prepared before it gets cold," I say as she tries to tame the crow's nest I call hair. Grace is still straightening her hair upstairs, so I am the only one for Mum to focus on, "Yes I can but I want my young prince to be all presentable for his first day at Hogwarts."
Grace finally comes downstairs 30 minutes later, "All ready Mum, when are we leaving? I wanna see Susan and Hannah." Mum looks her over before crying a little, "Oh look at you, how much my babies have grown and are now eager to leave me." Mum pulls me into a hug before dragging my sister into it as well, "My dear babies make sure to make lots of friends and to have fun. Also, my little prince try not to cause too much trouble."
After a few more rounds of tears from my mother we are finally into the car and heading towards the station. When we arrive, Mum helps us put our trunks onto a cart for us to push and leads us to the column between platforms 9 and 10. Running at my fastest pace I speed through the divide and come out onto platform 9 ¾, I saw the beautiful steam engine for the first time. Mum and my sister followed not long after and we started to make our way to the train, hurrying slightly since the conductor signalled that it would not be long before the train departed.
"Now remember, to have fun and to make lots of friends. I am sure that if your father was here he would tell you to prank a lot of people but try not to cause trouble because you will not enjoy it when I send you a howler." Mum said as she planted a kiss on both of our cheeks. "We know Mum, take care and we will right every week," Grace said as she hugged Mother one last time. With a final wave, we started to move along the corridor looking for a place to sit, there were many compartments filled with older schoolchildren until we came to the section of the train where the fellow first years were gathered.
We started to find some compartments in the midst of filling up as well as some people we know. We kept moving along the corridor till we saw a partially filled compartment with a boy and two girls inside so we opened the door to inquire about sitting there. I opened the door and started, "Is there...." I had looked around the compartment to see if I knew anyone there however when I looked at the boy a part of me seemed to be repulsed by him, my scar also started to throb with pain as it felt as if it was burning. I politely excused myself and dragged my sister away, "Harry? Why did we not join them? there was plenty of space for us." My sister asked my confusion evident in her tone.
"They were waiting for people to join them, Grace, It's fine, look here are your friends," I said as I found Susan and Hannah a few compartments over. I helped my sister place her trunk and then sat in the corner to think. 'Why did that boy disgust me so much? I don't think I have ever met him since he didn't look familiar,' While thinking I subconsciously rubbed my scar. "What's up, Harry? Do you have a headache?" Susan asked looking concerned.
Back to Erik's POV:
After receiving Gerald's thanks I remind him that he should probably explain his presence to the people in charge since they will probably ask about him when they arrive at Hogsmeade. "Please try to keep my abilities a secret, since it is a hassle to explain along with all the extra people that would be bothering me," I say as I wave goodbye and head back to my compartment.
The rest of the train ride passed without any change, we arrived at Hogsmeade and were met with a large man. "Firs' years o'er here. Firs' years gather here." Hagrid cajoled all the first years together and then led them towards the lake. "Only 4 to a boat," he said as he climbed into his own boat. I helped Daphne and Tracy into our boat then helped another woman in who seemed to be on her own, "My name is Erik, these two are Daphne and Tracy." I introduce us to the 4th member of the boat. "Sue, Nice to meet you all." She said in a timid voice.
The trip across the lake was passed in silent awe as the castle came into view and stifled any conversation that was happening. "Min' your heads," Hagrid said as he broke us out of staring at the castle. We were led into the castle with Hagrid knocking on the heavy oak door, the scene of McGonagall giving a speech before going to check if the sorting was ready. The next part however did not continue like it did in canon, instead of speaking to Harry, Draco decided to come annoy my group.
"I wonder if your fiancé will even be sorted into a house Daphne since I doubt he even has any magical aptitude," Draco said obviously trying to make it seem like I was a squib or close to one. "I think he will be sorted into the same house as me but should you be worried right, since you have no qualities of any of the houses, maybe you will be sorted into a new house called Daddy's Boys," Daphne replied with her words causing many in the room to laugh since they knew of or had met Draco before.
