Rose's POV
Being born as the eldest daughter of Alpha Andrew of Blue falls pack, was surely not all perfect as it seems. Since the elders have changed the rules, that alpha daughters also appeared to be fit to rule as alpha's of the pack, things have surely taken a dramatic turn. Having to say that there are wolves and people who look down on women in all sorts, because we seem "weaker", is just an understatement. Even my father is one of them. He always longed to have a son as his first born. So that he could support him and train him to become the next alpha of the pack. But fate gave him a daughter instead. I wasn't treated like the most lovable daughter, yet still got the right treatment of my parents and people of the pack.
My mother loves me just the way I am. She would always make sure that I got everything I needed. She told me stories, played dollies with me and she would sometimes even tease me after we would pass a cute boy. She always explained how it feels to meet your mate and how your mate changes everything in your life. I loved the idea of having a mate.
Who would've thought that I would be born in this generation where I have the possibility to lead our pack. From all the stories I've heard growing up, there were only men that leaded their packs with their Luna's by their side. Never once have I come across a story where a she-wolve led her pack as an alpha with a man by her side.
Our pack is one of the biggest and strongest packs ever aside from the royal families. We have lived up to every expectations that the werewolf council were searching for in a pack and their leaders. My parents are one of the greatest and most powerful leaders I have ever seen. They make sure that everyone knows their place within the pack. Everybody respects and loves my parents because of how good they look after the people.
My parents make sure that every wolf, no matter what rank, is taken care of. Especially those who can't fight for themselves. I truly looked up to my parents, hoping that one day I might be able to be as strong and brave as they are. But since that day, the day that the council changed the law, everything fell out of hand.
