Chapter 17 - Chapter 17: Routine

  The next evening.

As soon as Su Qing opened his eyes, he saw Selena nestling in his arms like a little lamb, her white jade-like face still with the sweet blush from last night.

Carefully recalling everything that happened last night, Su Qing felt as if he was dreaming, but the smoothness of his hands reminded him that everything was real.

Suppressing some thoughts in his mind, he lifted the quilt, carefully broke free from Selena's arms, got out of bed naked, and walked into the bathroom.

  Ten minutes later.

After taking a refreshing hot bath, Su Qing changed her clothes and returned to the bed.

Seeing Selena lying on the bed with her head covered under the quilt, he smiled and sat down beside the bed. He reached out his hand and stroked Selena's back through the quilt as if he was stroking a cat.

"I'm going to run some errands. I'll be back soon."

  "Um."

From under the quilt came Selina's shy but concerned voice: "Be careful."

"Got it, you should have a good rest!"

Su Qing replied softly, got up, walked out of the room, closed the door and left the hotel.

Lying on the big bed in the room, listening to the footsteps gradually fading away, Selena poked her head out from under the quilt, reached out to smooth her hair on her forehead, looked at the closed door, her eyes moving, and smiled gently.

  The other side.

After Su Qing left the hotel, he stood on the street.

There was no need to even lift a hand. A minute later, a sharp-eyed coachman drove the carriage to a stop on the side.

After he sat down, the groom asked, "Where are you going, sir?"

Su Qing felt the voice sounded familiar, and when he looked up, he discovered that the coachman was the one who had taken advantage of him last night.

But didn't he buy his carriage and horses himself? How come he had them again and was still able to pick up passengers as usual?

"Wow, didn't you sell the carriage and the horse to me?" Su Qing took the initiative to greet the coachman. The coachman turned around and saw that he had changed a lot from last night. His eyes were bloodshot and his cheeks were sunken, as if he had received a great shock. He looked confused and no longer as smart as he was last night.

Is this because he was robbed and all his belongings were stolen?

Or did he enter the Spider Cave and have his essence and vitality taken away by a female demon?

"Sir, it's you." The groom turned around and saw that it was Su Qing. His eyes lit up and he became extremely excited. He said sadly, "How could I be so miserable? I sold the carriage and horses last night and went to the bar to celebrate. But on the way home from the bar, I encountered robbers."

Hearing this, Su Qing's eyes showed a look of assurance.

But before he could say anything to comfort her, the groom showed a look of horror on his face. He gritted his teeth and said, "I thought the robber would leave after stealing the money, but I didn't expect that guy to be a pervert. He forced me, forced me..."

After a pause, the groom's expression changed, sometimes shame and anger, sometimes complicated, and he couldn't continue speaking.

Su Qing was listening attentively beside him. He suddenly stopped talking and couldn't help but ask curiously, "What am I forcing you to do?"

"Alas!" The groom was silent for a moment, but he couldn't hold back his desire to talk anymore, and he stammered, "After that bastard robbed me of my money, he started to do something to me, and finally he pushed me to the ground and violated me, me, me."

"Oh my god." Su Qing was shocked. She didn't expect that the groom, who was already in his forties or fifties, had lost his integrity in his old age and was robbed of his money and raped.

Perhaps because the nature was very similar, Su Qing instantly recalled what happened to him in the mine.

However, he actually killed the pervert, while the groom was successfully killed by the pervert.

  It's really miserable!

Looking at the old groom's haggard face, he felt a trace of sympathy in his heart and began to comfort him by saying, "It's robbed, but at least you're still alive. As long as you're alive, there's hope..."

Before he could finish his words, the groom closed his eyes in pain and said in a sad voice: "The robber said he would come to see me tonight."

"He's so cruel, and he still won't let you go!" Su Qing was shocked on the spot.

Then the groom continued, "That bastard threatened me, saying that if I didn't run away, he would kill my whole family."

  All right.

Su Qing didn't know how to describe it.

This robber who robbed people of their money and women had a unique taste. He kept chasing the groom who was in his forties or fifties and wouldn't let go.

The groom is so pitiful. He is so old and still suffering from injuries...

Shaking his head, Su Qing put away his thoughts and had no intention of helping the coachman.

Although he now has extraordinary vampire blood and his body functions far exceed those of ordinary people, he lived in a peaceful society before he traveled through time and had never had a fight since he was a child. He had no fighting experience at all. He rashly got involved in the entanglement between the groom and the robbers. He might not die, but why would he put himself in danger?

After all, he and the groom were just strangers who had met each other a few times.

Su Qing was silent, but the coachman showed no intention of stopping.

After he finished describing his ordeal, his tone became extremely calm: "I knelt down and begged the robber to let me go, and finally, he agreed."

"Agreed?" Su Qing raised his eyebrows, a little surprised.

"Yes, he agreed." The groom's face was hidden in the shadow of the brim of his hat. Suddenly, his tone changed and became extremely gloomy: "He said that as long as I bring a fat sheep to him, he will let me go."

Hearing this, Su Qing reacted instantly.

He immediately turned around and looked around, and found that the carriage had brought him to a remote dead end without him noticing.

The city is so cunning, I will never go back to the countryside again!

With a sigh, Su Qing stood up and stared at the groom, "So, you've got your eyes on me!"

"Yes." The groom turned around and said apologetically: "I'm sorry, I don't want to do this, but we have arrived at our destination. I am very sorry."

After saying this, he jumped off the carriage and shouted as he ran:

  "I've brought people here."

As he finished speaking, a man walked out from behind.

The man was very tall, at least 1.80 meters tall, with a completely bald head but a thick beard on his chin. He had the roughness of a barbarian from the game, one could feel it just by standing there.

At this time, the man stood there with his arms folded, staring at Su Qing, while the groom stood beside him and said carefully:

"This man is fair and rich. He bought my carriage with the sixty pounds you stole last night..."

Before he could finish his words, the groom suddenly felt a chill in his heart.

He subconsciously lowered his head and saw a large hand reaching out from his chest, holding a throbbing mass of flesh.

The groom looked up in disbelief, but the man pulled out his bloody hand.

  "you..."

The groom collapsed to the ground, foaming with blood from his mouth. He wanted to say something, but before he could utter it, he fell silent.

After doing all this, the man spat at the groom, then threw away the heart in disgust, turned to look at Su Qing, and laughed strangely:

"Hehe, I never thought that this idiot would bring me a dirty, smelly bat."

"I didn't expect to encounter a werewolf in this way."

Su Qing stood on the carriage, secretly sighing at his bad luck.

His original intention of going out this time was to inquire about the ship and to find out about the werewolf.

Who knew that he would be tricked as soon as he stepped out of the door and was sent directly to the werewolf.

I can only say that I didn't check the almanac before going out today!

"I smell the scent of those guys on you." The man shrugged his nose and said excitedly, "I know, you are the stinky bat that escaped from Dawson the night before last."

"Haha, I'm so lucky. When I catch you later, I will definitely bring your head back and humiliate them."

"These five bastards actually despise me." The man said angrily, as if he had thought of something.

Su Qing narrowed his eyes when he heard him say that, and suddenly asked, "How many werewolves do you have?"

"We have seven..." The man answered subconsciously, but he reacted halfway through his words and looked at Su Qing angrily, "I'm going to tear your mouth off."

After he finished speaking, his expression became distorted, and then a lot of brown hair on his face, neck, and hands...grew wildly, his forehead bones bulged, and his mouth bones stretched and lengthened wildly...

In just three or four breaths, the man turned into a terrifying werewolf with a hideous appearance.

  "Ouch…"

The werewolf transformation was completed. He first roared fiercely, then strode towards Su Qing.

Facing the werewolf charging at him, Su Qing sighed that his decision to choose vampire bloodline was the right one. He then pulled out a pistol from his waist, fired to block the attack, and retreated tactically, shouting:

"Selena, stop looking and come out to help!"
