Isabelle's POV
I couldn't believe my eyes. I mean I could, knowing that I would find here in this mall, but I was taken aback seeing her having a heated argument with a young woman. Seeing her brought up conflicted feelings. Memories resurfaced, she never treated me like her daughter. I always worked ten times harder to please both her and dad.
Why am I still referring to them as my parents knowing they may not actually be my parents?
People were murmuring around, and of course I can't just barge into the situation. One reason is it isn't my business, second is I am Isabelle, the old me would have stepped in, but the old me is dead.
