The night was hazy, with the bright moonlight gently draping over the ground like a veil. Occasionaly, cars passed by on the quiet street below.
"Well, there's a lot to do next." Aron sat at his desk, beginning to organize his plans for the upcoming holiday.
"The first step is to continue digesting the original owner's memories and absorb all the knowledge available to me."
Aron had only a basic understanding of Pokémon—he could identify their types, attributes, abilities, and so on. But this was just the basic requirement to become an excellent Trainer. What he needed to do was completely make the original owner's knowledge his own.
Now that he had entered this Pokémon world—something countless people dreamed of—he intended to climb to the top and see the world from a new perspective.
"Learning is the fundamental driving force for progress," Aron thought to himself.
The holiday after graduating high school was a long one—about a month and a half. That was more than enough time for Aron to digest all the original owner's memories.
"The second point is to gradually change my personality when interacting with Lukas and Mary."
Fortunately, the original owner was only slightly introverted and didn't have any major communication issues, so this wouldn't be too difficult.
"The third point is to promote my Psychic abilities."
After seeing the abnormality in his Psychic powers, Aron became very curious and thought they could become his trump card. This goal could also tie in with the second point—if his personality improved, it would make it easier to ask Lukas about training methods for Psychic abilities.
After all, the original owner hadn't been interested in developing his Psychic skills, allowing them to improve naturally with age.
"The fourth point is to make a training plan for Torchic." Aron muttered quietly, glancing down at the Torchic sleeping peacefully in his arms.
Perhaps because it was full from its meal, Torchic had quickly fallen asleep—its normally vigilant eyes now relaxed.
Aron squinted, recalling Torchic's detailed information from the original owner's memories.
"Not only does Torchic have champion-level potential, but its ability, [Speed Boost], is unique. It truly is a Pokémon blessed by the heavens." Aron sighed softly.
Torchic's final evolution, Blaziken, was both powerful and handsome, beloved by many Trainers. However, despite its high attacking stats, its speed was lacking, making it less favored in battles.
But when Blaziken possessed the [Speed Boost] ability, it could overcome its speed disadvantage. Combined with [Swords Dance], it had the potential to carry the team on its own.
Aron thought to himself, With the right care, this Torchic has a bright future. Winning the Championship is not a dream.
"Torchic is a pure Fire-type, and after it evolves into Combusken, it will gain the Fighting-type as well. Fighting moves will become one of its primary offensive tools."
Aron kept muttering while scribbling down notes on paper.
"According to what the original owner's mother often said, physique is the foundation of a Pokémon. Only with a solid physique can it support further development."
Physique was crucial for Pokémon. It affected a Pokémon's stamina, speed, strength, defense, evasion, recovery, and more.
"Therefore, the first priority is physical fitness, followed by learning skills and improving their proficiency."
"There's one last point, though: Does the system have any other functions?"
Aron paused for a moment, then shrugged and said to himself, Let's leave that for now. He dropped the pen and stretched.
As for other things—such as training grounds, training equipment, energy cubes, and move-learning machines—he didn't need to worry about them.
As one of the leading Psychic families in Easton, they had all these resources at their disposal.
Even if Aron asked for a quasi-legendary Pokémon, Lukas and Mary would find a way to get one.
I just don't know what Psychic Pokémon the original owner's grandfather has prepared for him…
Aron lay back on his bed, deep in thought.
It must be something precious if it's prepared by an Elite-level Trainer.

The next morning, after breakfast, Lukas packed up his things and said, "I'm going to the Gym."
Aron wiped his mouth, stood up, and said, "I'll go too."
Lukas and Mary exchanged a look, and Lukas raised an eyebrow, asking, "Why the sudden interest?"
Aron calmly explained, "There's no training ground at home."
"Ah, I see," Lukas smiled, a look of relief flashing in his eyes. "Okay, let's go."
For eighteen years, Aron had only visited the Gym when he was very young. As he got older, he spent most of his time at home reading books. But now, Aron had actively expressed interest in going to the Gym, which indicated that he was becoming less resistant to the idea of becoming a Trainer. This was a positive sign.
The two left the house in silence, with Lukas humming a tune as he drove. Half an hour later, they arrived at the Gym's entrance.
Aron looked up at the round, silver building before them.
"Let's go in," Lukas said.
Aron followed Lukas into the Gym, passing by several people who greeted Lukas with smiles and curious glances directed at Aron.
Soon, they passed a room where a group of people were seated. Some sat in meditation with their eyes closed, practicing [Calm Mind], others stared at spoons in their hands, and a few observed Bronzor.
Noticing Aron's gaze, Lukas explained softly, "These are all apprentices training at the Gym. They come here to learn Psychic."
Aron nodded and asked casually, "Can they even learn it like this?"
Lukas glanced at Aron in surprise but immediately responded, "Yes, but it's very difficult. Most Psychic abilities are learned through practice."
As they continued walking, the two arrived at an empty training ground.
"You can train Torchic here," Lukas said. "If you need anything, just press the button. There are energy cubes and healing sprays available."
"Got it," Aron said, nodding as he looked around, impressed by the complete training facilities.
"I'll leave you to it, then," Lukas said as he started to leave.
"Okay," Aron replied.
When Lukas's figure faded from view, Aron took out a Poké Ball from his waist and pressed the button. A beam of white light shot out, and Torchic appeared on the training ground, looking around curiously.
Aron clapped his hands and smiled. "Alright, our goal today is to work on our physical fitness."
"Chirp!" Torchic stood tall, eyes full of determination.
"Let's get started!"
---
At noon, Lukas returned to the training ground with lunch. He nodded at Aron, who was running alongside Torchic.
"Take a break and eat first," Lukas suggested.
"Thanks," Aron glanced at the time, then stopped running with Torchic to rest.
During the meal, Aron suddenly looked up and asked, "Are there any Rookie-level Pokémon here?"
"I want to better understand Torchic's strength."
Aron wanted to know if the system had any other functions through battle.
Lukas was taken aback for a moment, then rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Yes, a Rookie Trainer came to the Gym yesterday, and his Pokémon is Rookie-level."
A Rookie Trainer from yesterday?
Hearing this,a boy's figure appeared in Aron's mind.
