Chapter 65 - 65

The roaring flames engulfed the ark, consuming it piece by piece. Soon, the massive bow of the ship was reduced to a charred heap of ashes.

The workers were horrified, unable to comprehend such recklessness. Who would dare to burn the divine ark built for the Sky God himself?

Some of them huddled in fear, trembling as they imagined Enel's wrath falling upon them for this sacrilege. Cries of panic and protests rang out:

"What are you doing?! Do you not fear the wrath of God?"

Tony, unfazed, ignored their outbursts. The "god" they spoke of had already been defeated and buried by his hands. There was no one left to unleash divine retribution.

He turned around calmly, speaking in a steady voice:

"I told you… The cruel ruler of Sky Island, Enel, has been slain by me. No one will force you to work anymore. As for my purpose here, to put it bluntly, it's for the treasure."

He gestured toward the workers.

"In recognition of how long you've been imprisoned and forced to labor, take the gold from this ship and divide it among yourselves. Return home to your families. But as for those five chests of gold over there—those are mine. I'll need your help to load them onto my ship docked near Angel Island."

"This seems like a fair deal, don't you think?"

The workers hesitated, unsure of how to respond. The young man didn't seem to be lying. But if what he said was true… if Enel was really dead… then this boy was far more terrifying than the Sky God himself.

Despite their doubts, they eventually agreed to Tony's terms. None of them dared to keep the gold he offered, asking only for the chance to return home.

Tony, however, insisted on distributing the treasure among them. After all, he and Nami couldn't possibly carry all that gold by themselves.

It was an equitable exchange, and Tony believed that fairness was the best way to handle the situation.

Soon after, Tony and the workers made their way back to Angel Island together.

Word of Enel's defeat spread like wildfire across Sky Island. What started as whispers quickly grew into a chorus of celebrations. The island, which had long been shrouded in fear, was now alive with cheer.

By the time Vivi and Robin returned to Angel Island to reunite with Tony, they found themselves greeted by the festive clamor. Robin, in particular, was stunned. So much had changed in just a few short hours.

What truly shocked her, however, was the news that Tony had obtained the Rumble-Rumble Fruit.

While Nami and Vivi didn't fully grasp the significance of the fruit, Robin, with her vast knowledge, understood its immense value.

If she didn't already possess the powers of the Hana-Hana (Flower-Flower) Fruit, she wouldn't have hesitated to consume the Rumble-Rumble Fruit herself.

The residents of Angel Island welcomed Tony and his crew with open arms, eager to show their gratitude.

For over a year, Enel's ruthless reign had plunged the entire island into an abyss of fear. The constant threat of sudden lightning strikes and the terror of losing loved ones had robbed everyone of their joy.

But now, things were different. With Enel's death, the looming threat of divine punishment vanished. Families could finally breathe easy, free from the specter of random tragedy.

All of this was thanks to the young man named Tony.

The tale of how he slew the tyrant Enel and saved Sky Island quickly became a cherished story, passed from home to home.

It wasn't long before Tony's heroic deeds were immortalized as a bedtime story—a favorite remedy for soothing restless children across the island.
