Nami drove Tony across the White-White Sea on a "Waver," a unique form of transportation on Skypiea. Powered by "Breath Dials (Wind Shells)," these vehicles could cruise freely over the sea without wind. Like a seafaring motorcycle, operating a Waver required skill in reading wind directions and sea currents, but Nami, a genius navigator, handled it effortlessly.
As they sped across the sea, Nami locked onto a distant island with a sparkle in her eyes—"God's Island," the only piece of land in the White-White Sea with real soil. She accelerated, her large eyes glittering with excitement for the treasure hunt ahead.
"Hehehe... Treasure, here comes the Cat Burglar!"
Seated behind her, Tony chuckled and shook his head, watching as her treasure fever took over. Yet on the island, someone had already taken notice of the intruders: none other than Enel, the self-proclaimed "God" of Skypiea, who had defeated the former ruler. Enel, a wielder of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, possessed not only a Logia-type power but also an advanced Observation Haki that could cover the entire Skypiea.
This island, considered a sacred place by the locals, was Enel's domain—an area where trespassing was punishable by "divine retribution." Tony, although his Observation Haki didn't reach as far, immediately sensed the murderous intent from the island and quickly called for Nami to stop. He positioned himself in front of her protectively, his lips already forming a chant.
"Oh child of heaven, walls of iron, dragon's breath, wolf's hunt; divide heaven and earth before all collapses."
Suddenly, a thunderous sound erupted in the sky. A massive column of lightning, at least 10 meters wide, shot down with devastating force, as if piercing the heavens, aiming straight for Tony and Nami.
"Bakudō #81: Dankū!"
Tony raised his hand, forming a colossal wall of energy aimed at the sky.
Boom!
The blazing lightning struck, barely inches above Tony and Nami. The immense pillar of light crashed into the transparent barrier, which held firm, scattering bolts of lightning that crackled in all directions. Nami, paralyzed with fear, stared at the spectacle unfolding before her, unable to utter a word. The near miss left her shaken. She hugged herself, trembling, unable to imagine the outcome if the lightning had struck her directly. Death had brushed her shoulder, leaving her legs weak and her heart pounding in terror.
Seeing Nami shivering on the ground, Tony's eyes turned ice-cold. He hadn't planned to clash with Enel on Skypiea, but that was before he witnessed the fear and pain his friend had suffered. If he hadn't reacted in time with the advanced barrier spell "Dankū," the damage would have been unimaginable. He might have withstood it due to his physical strength, but Nami would have been left gravely injured—or worse.
As this thought crossed his mind, his expression grew severe, and a chilling intensity filled his gaze. Slowly, his Sharingan activated, spinning until the three-tomoe pattern appeared. Tony wouldn't forgive anyone who dared harm his friends—not even a "God."
Fixing his gaze on the distant "Island of God," Tony let out a roar of fury.
"Enel! To dare attack me and my friend—are you prepared for the consequences?"
"I swear, I'll take you down myself!"
At that moment, an overwhelming wave of intimidation surged from Tony, flooding the island with his fierce resolve, blanketing "God's Island" with his powerful, unyielding presence.
["Ding!"]The long-lost voice of the system echoed in Tony's mind.
["Congratulations, host! Through the spark of anger, you have unleashed your potential and awakened the Conqueror's Haki!"]
Tony was overjoyed. He hadn't expected that Enel would trigger this.
Conqueror's Haki was an incredibly rare ability, possessed by one in a million, granted only to those with the potential of a king.
As Tony felt the power of the Conqueror's Haki radiating from him, nearby, weaker beasts and animals on "God's Island" fainted from the overwhelming pressure.
The Sea Kings in the clouds sensed the danger and immediately retreated, swimming deeper into the sea, avoiding the path Tony and Nami had taken.
These Sea Kings had been lurking, hoping for a chance to feast on human flesh, but they never anticipated encountering someone as formidable as Tony.
Enel, standing atop a large tree, felt an unmistakable sense of fear creeping over him. Coldness surged in his chest as his mind raced in disbelief.
"Impossible! How can I... be afraid? Am I, the God of Skypiea, being intimidated by this boy?"
"No! I refuse to accept it! I am a god! I am the God of Skypiea! How dare this mere mortal try to scare me?!"
"I will make him wish he were never born!"
Suppressing the rage bubbling inside him, Enel put on a calm expression and responded to Tony from across the White-White Sea.
"You lowly mortal, how dare you utter my name! You will face the judgment of the god!"
"Come, meet me in my sacred land! I will let your corpse rest here, for that is the greatest honor a mere mortal like you could ever achieve."
