The high-ceilinged Imperial Council Chamber of the palace was filled with the murmurs of the gathered members. Around the large, polished wooden table at the center, viziers, judges, the chief scribe, and other council members had convened under the presence of Sultan Osman. The walls, adorned with golden inlays and tapestries bearing the Ottoman emblem, radiated the splendor of the empire. Yet beneath this grandeur, a palpable tension lingered.

Sultan Osman sat silently at his dais, his sharp gaze surveying the room. Clad in a golden robe and with a plume-adorned turban, his authority was unmistakable. The murmurs subsided as Osman rose to his feet, and the room fell into a deep hush.

With a resolute and measured voice, Osman began,

"The reason I have gathered you here today is the news of rebellion among the timar holders of Anatolia and Rumelia."

The room immediately erupted into whispers. The council members exchanged glances, some grumbling in anger while others lowered their heads in concern.

Kara Öküz Mehmed Pasha stepped forward with fury in his voice:

"Sultan, how dare they? Such audacity must be met with swift justice! We must eliminate them at once!"

Osman listened calmly to Mehmed Pasha's indignant remarks. His eyes, filled with unwavering resolve, silenced the room with a mere gesture.

"We will deal with these traitors who threaten our state," Osman declared. "But this matter is not so simple as to be solved by the sword alone. We must act with strategy and wisdom, ensuring that no harm comes to our people as we crush this rebellion."

He raised his voice to address the room:

"I will personally lead the campaign against the rebels!"

His words struck the chamber like thunder. The council members looked at Osman in astonishment. Despite his young age, his courage and leadership left a profound impression on all. At that moment, an elderly and seasoned council member stepped forward, bowing respectfully as he spoke:

"Sultan, my heart cannot bear the thought of you taking on such a perilous task. Your presence is essential for the state's stability. Allow us to lead this campaign on your behalf. You must remain here to guide the empire."

Osman listened intently, his expression marked by respect and determination. He replied with conviction:

"Your intent is noble, but you forget one thing. An Ottoman Sultan does not merely sit in the palace giving orders. I must stand beside my people, wielding the sword when necessary. A Sultan is not only a ruler but also a warrior!"

Osman's determination stirred admiration and confidence in the eyes of everyone present. The chamber fell silent once more; the Sultan's will was unquestionable.

"I will gather my armies and show these traitors the justice of the Ottoman Empire," Osman continued. "This will not just be retribution, but the foundation of our state's revival. I expect loyalty and resolve from each of you!"

As the council session concluded, Osman rose from his throne and strode out of the chamber with the bearing of a fearless leader. Behind him, murmurs of loyalty and devotion echoed, but he paid them no mind. His thoughts were fixed on quelling the rebellion and restoring peace to his people.

As he left the chamber, his face bore a determined expression, but his mind was alight with plans. To him, this rebellion was not only a matter of suppression but also an opportunity to achieve greater goals.

"This rebellion will not only punish the traitors," Osman thought. "It will serve as the foundation for completing the land reforms, identifying the weaknesses in the army, and asserting my authority over it."

These thoughts ignited a fire within him. The Sultan was not merely aiming to suppress the rebellion; he was determined to rebuild the decaying structure of the empire. Every step he took was with the resolve of a revolutionary.

"This time," he told himself, "I will not just win. I will lay the groundwork for this nation's rebirth."
