"Bring in the wine!" Gianna shouted to Morissette, who quickly made her way to the kitchen.
"Alcohol? Gianna, Eleven is still a little girl," Schultz admonished, shaking his head at her order.
"I'm not a child. I'm twenty!" she retorted, glaring at the vampire who chuckled and surrendered to her insistence.
"Okay, okay." They were all in the midst of setting the table for Eleven's birthday feast. Zeiss and Lincoln had returned but were currently upstairs. Rose had just dropped the beautiful cake they had baked—a cinnamon-flavored delight she had requested after tasting Sir Michael's decadent cupcakes.
"Gosh, this looks tasty as hell!" Melrose exclaimed, eliciting chuckles from the others. Once they finished their preparations, Eleven was asked to call Zeiss while Gianna went to fetch Lincoln.
