Gauling stormed out of the car, matching furiously toward Ava who stood at the entrance. The moment Ava spotted him, her heart sank.
Why was Gaulin home so early?
Her eyes nervously darted to Dustin who already started the engine of his car, ready to take off, and when they fell on Gaulin again, he was in front of her.
"Father... You're back so early." Ava smiled nervously as Dustin's car took off. When Gaulin's eyes fell on Ava, his face hardened even more.
Gaulin gave her a grimacing look before walking into the building, leaving Ava confused as she stared at his back. She expected something more intense than a side eye, maybe even a fight breakout, given his hatred for the Moore family.
