Scrolling through the results, I finally found something promising. A particular sentence caught my eye: Set up an altar with the food, treats, or toys you want to give to your dead pet, then offer a prayer to them.

Without hesitation, I waved goodbye to Nasha as I stepped out.

"You want to come with me?" I asked, glancing down at Midnight, who was wagging his tail in delight. "Let's go find you an altar."

We made our way to the nearest furniture and pet store. Once inside, I took Midnight through the aisles, encouraging him to choose what he wants. Together, we picked out a small stone coffee table and two ceramic bowls that were an earthy shade of green. As I checked out, I grabbed a pack of incense sticks and a holder.
