After Harleen left, the prison guard did not move Jason to his cell but asked him to wait there.

Jason frowned, 'It's so late; is there anyone else coming to interview?'

Before long, his doubts were resolved.

James Wesley, wearing a suit, shiny leather shoes, and a pair of black-framed glasses, walked into the interrogation room.

Jason looked a little surprised.

He thought of countless possibilities, but he didn't expect Wesley to come to him.

The next moment, Jason guessed his purpose.

Wesley sat opposite him, and neither side spoke at first.

After staring at each other for a long time, Wesley couldn't help but ask, "Jason, how have you been lately?"

Jason replied calmly, "It's not bad. There's food, drink, and a place to sleep here. People to chat with every day, and I don't have to worry about being hunted down by my enemies. It's pretty good."

Wesley smiled and said, getting straight to the point: "You're so smart, you must have guessed my intention."

Jason exhaled through his nose, "Haha, why doesn't that old dog Kingpin come in person?"

"He's very busy."

"New York has been cracking down these days, what is he busy with?"

"It's not convenient for me to ask about some private matters."

"Private matters?"

Jason immediately became interested, sat up straight, and asked, "Has he got a girlfriend again?"

Wesley looked very embarrassed, coughed lightly, and said, "Maybe."

"Did he succeed? Was the target a man or a woman? Black or white?"

Wesley adjusted his glasses and interrupted him, "Okay, Jason, stop trying to get me to spill something. There's no point in doing that. I'll say it straight: I'm here to make a deal with you on behalf of Kingpin."

"Deal?"

Jason showed a disdainful expression, "I'm in prison now and have no desires or requests. What can a gang leader like him offer me?"

Wesley's eyes lit up, "So, the secret does exist."

"I have a lot of secrets, and there's a big secret in my crotch. Which one do you want to ask about?"

"Don't play dumb! I want to ask you about the secret of how to quickly improve your speed, strength, and fighting skills in just a few days."

It is possible to suddenly realize fighting skills overnight, but strength and speed can only be honed through hard training day and night.

Kingpin, the fighting fanatic, had a deep understanding of this and was particularly concerned about Jason's secret.

"Oh, you mean that secret? Of course, it exists! But the question is: what can Kingpin give me?"

"We can—"

"Stop! I interrupt you! Please don't say anything about improving my quality of life in prison."

"I'm tired of hearing that kind of thing every day."

"As long as I give them a little information, they can eat delicious food every day, so please change it up!"

After hearing what Jason said, Wesley rubbed his temples in frustration.

Before coming, he had anticipated that this trip would likely yield no results.

Unexpectedly, after a few days in jail, Jason had become more difficult to deal with than before.

In the prison office building, in a dim room.

A 3-meter-long and 1-meter-wide dining table was placed in the middle of the room. Several candles lit the table, which was filled with a variety of exotic delicacies.

The two sat opposite each other, and Daniel introduced the origins of the dishes to Harleen one by one.

"This is Japanese grilled wagyu, this is Australian M12 sirloin steak, this is French baked snails and foie gras caviar, this is Russian grilled sausage, this is New Zealand oysters, this is Chinese mapo tofu..."

Harleen covered her mouth with her hand, a moved smile on her face.

Daniel explained, "I wasn't sure what you'd like to eat. This is food from all over the world that I found in New York. I hope it suits your taste."

Harleen clasped her hands together and said excitedly, "Daniel, thank you for preparing such a sumptuous dinner."

Daniel waved his hand and said proudly, "Don't thank me yet; the protagonist hasn't appeared yet."

As he spoke, he carefully took out a bottle of red wine, "This is red wine from Chateau Lafite, from 1982. I've never been willing to drink it."

Daniel opened the bottle with a corkscrew, stood up, and poured wine for both of them. He then raised his glass and said, "Cheers!"

"Cheers!"

After three rounds of wine, the dishes had taken on five distinct flavors.

With Harleen frequently raising her glass, the bottle of Lafite was soon finished.

Both of their cheeks were slightly red, but Daniel was obviously in much better condition, while Harleen was a little tipsy.

"Daniel, the wine is gone."

Harleen tilted her head and threw the empty glass onto the table.

Seeing her half-drunk and half-awake, Daniel couldn't stop smiling.

'Hehe, if she's drunk, there's hope tonight.'

"Wait a minute, I still have a lot of fine wine in my collection."

After saying that, he walked into the office and took out several bottles of whiskey from his collection.

First, he drank red wine, and then whiskey, obviously trying to get Harleen even more drunk.

Dinner continued.

After drinking three bottles of whiskey, both sides were almost reaching their limit.

Harleen glanced at her watch.

9:35!

There were only 25 minutes left until the prison break.

She stood up and staggered out, and Daniel hurried over to support her.

"Harleen, you're drunk. Let me take you home."

"No, I'm not drunk. I haven't seen what prison is like late at night. Take me to see it."

"Okay! I'll go with you if you want."

The two supported each other and staggered to the monitoring room. Harleen pointed to the door and said, "I'm a doctor. I can't let the prisoners see me drunk. Let's go to the monitoring room."

Daniel's mind was in a mess, and without thinking much, he took her and knocked on the door of the monitoring room.

The monitoring room was heavily guarded. To prevent prisoners from rioting and robbing the monitoring room, this heavy iron door could only be opened from the inside.

"Warden, what are you doing?"

The seven prison guards on the night shift stared at the two in blank amazement.

"Dr. Harleen is writing a paper on prisons, so I'm bringing her here to give her a tour."

Daniel lied casually, then took Harlin's hand and walked to the surveillance screen.

"This huge surveillance screen is divided into 50 small screens, which switch every 20 seconds, providing comprehensive and complete surveillance of everything inside and outside the prison."

Harleen's dazed eyes suddenly cleared up, and she quickly memorized everything she saw.

"Honey, what are these buttons for?"

Daniel hiccupped and explained, "These are the switches that control the cell doors. When the prisoners go out for exercise, they use these buttons to open the cell doors."

"What about these next to it?"

"These are the switches that control the gates of the entire prison. If there is a riot in one area, the gates of that area will be closed, and then this button will be pressed, and the spray device on the top will spray tear gas to subdue them."

"Then... what about this?"

Harleen turned into a curious child and asked about all the operations in the monitoring room, and Daniel, the fool, answered every question.

Although several prison guards knew that the warden's behavior was inappropriate, they dared not speak up.

It would be a shame to undermine the boss in such a situation.

"Oh, I see."

After learning all the operations in the monitoring room, Harleen quietly moved between the two prison guards and reached for their service guns.
