I was suddenly woken up from my slumber from the rumbling of the battleship, sitting up in my seat and looking around while stretching. I glanced out the window, noticing we were landing on top of a large building. Yumeji and Kikyo also woke up from their sleep, yawning and stretching as well.
"Look alive ladies! We've finally made it back home," Orishi said, smiling at us and getting up from the pilot seat. She walked toward us and crossed her arms, humming softly. "Good work out there. A successful mission and we've landed ourselves a new recruit along the way."
Yumeji smiled at Orishi, standing up from her seat and let out a yawn. "We aren't called the Dynamic Duo for nothing!~ Anyways, I'm gonna go hit the hay."
"Hold on," Kikyo said, getting up from her seat as well. "What about Hisumi? She's one of us now and we should give her the liberty of showing her around."
"We? Like Oui Oui? C'mon, we can do that tomorrow..." Yumeji sighed dramatically, lowering her head.
"We as in W E. I'm tired too, Yume, but we should still give her the liberty of giving her a tour of the campus. Besides it's only 5 PM, we've got loads of time before our curfew," Kikyo said, walking closer to Yumeji and placing her hand on her arm.
"I promise that afterwards, I'll let you sleep for however long you want for the rest of the night..." Kikyo said, her voice soft and full of sweet honesty.
Yumeji glanced at Kikyo, blushing softly at her soft tone then placed her hands behind her head casually. "Alright, fine... Let's go."
Kikyo smiled as she watched Yumeji walk out of Star Shooter then turned toward me, gesturing for me to follow behind. "C'mon, Hisumi!~ We'll show you around."
"Okay," I nodded, following behind Kikyo and Yumeji out of the battleship.
Orishi smiled at the three of us, chuckling softly. "Remember you three, curfew is at 10 PM! You still have classes in the morning!"
"We know!" Yumeji yelled out, waving her hand in the air.
The three of us began to make our way inside the building, travelling down the flight of stairs. Once we reached the bottom, I looked around, noticing we were inside the academy building, the battle area of the academy.
"So this is the inside of St. Fraskia Academy. Here, St. Fraskia is a sanctuary and training grounds for Valkyrias who are looking to join in our elite fighters or just looking for rehabilitation due to suffering by the hands of Judgement," Kikyo explained, walking down the halls with me and Yumeji.
"The four main areas of the academy are the classrooms, the battle area for training and development, the library, and the medical center," She continued, showing me around the building.
I nodded, taking a look around the beautiful interior of the building. The building seemed to be made from white marble, the glasses made out of stained glass, and the tiles were also beautifully white as well. We also passed by a few students who were involved with after school clubs and extracurriculars.
Once we left the building, the real St. Fraskia brought life into my eyes once again. My heart beat with excitement, my eyes shimmering with awe as I looked around.
"Welcome to St. Fraskia, Hisumi. This is where we live. This mini town-esque location is what we call our home. C'mon, we'll show you around!~" Kikyo smiled at me, walking ahead down the stairs with Yumeji.
"Can we stop by Valk Diner? I'm really hungry," Yumeji said, rubbing her stomach and sighed.
Kikyo chuckled and nodded. "Sure, we can stop there along the way."
I watched as the two walked ahead then hurried after them, watching my step as I hurried behind. I followed the two, walking into the plaza area of the town. The plaza was busy with activity with friends alike traversing around the plaza as well to hang out.
The two showed me around every location of the plaza from the convenience store, the arcade, the local supermarket, a few shopping areas, and finally, the main attraction of the Valkyrias, the Valk Diner.
"And it's closed because the owner isn't here...great. Welp, what are ya gonna do? I'm going back to the dorms," Yumeji said, humming as she walked off.
Kikyo gasped and gently smacked her fist against the palm of her hand. "Ahh, that's the last place I have to show you!~ The dorms! Alright, let's go, and I'll cook you something to eat when we make it there!"
I nodded and followed behind Kikyo and Yumeji once again, following them out of the plaza area and back toward the academy area toward the second building, the Valkyria Dormitories. The dorms didn't look like normal dorms at all, however. The dorms looked like an apartment complex mixed with a luxury hotel.
"How does one even pay for all of this?" I asked, my eyes scanning the dorms with amazement.
"Well, we don't have to pay anything. All we have to do is enjoy ourselves, make good grades, make friends and allies, and save Japan and the rest of the world from Judgement," Kikyo answered, smiling warmly at me.
We walked into the main dorm building, entering a lobby area. Inside, I noticed a pool table inside, a few luxury furnitures, and mini kitchen inside. Kikyo walked toward the front counter, registering me to stay with them in their dorm. I was asked to come up to the counter so I could give them my finger print.
I looked at the device in front of me, placing my finger upon it. The light of the device shone red, scanning my print and registering me successfully. Afterwards, I was given a key to the dorms and a rulebook, and was now a step closer into joining the Valkyrias.
We began making our way to the dorms, finding our dorm on the third floor and walking inside. The dorm was not anything I was used to seeing as the inside of a dorm room was basically the inside of an apartment.
"Welcome to your new home~ We have a fourth living with us, but she's out on a separate mission right now. Our dorms are basically apartments, two beds, two baths, a kitchen and living room, the usual apartment," Kikyo explained, looking around her dorm.
Yumeji yawned as she walked to the couch, flopping in it and rolled on her back. "Finally...home sweet home...I'm clocking the hell out...good night.."
Kikyo chuckled softly at Yumeji, smiling at her then gestured me to follow her to the kitchen. "C'mon, I'll make you something to eat..."
I nodded and followed her to the kitchen area then sat down upon a barstool in front of the window area of the kitchen, watching as Kikyo prepared everything for dinner. Inside, I was still nervous about this whole transition, but... now that I was here, it didn't feel so bad anymore.
After a few moments, Kikyo finished cooking her dinner, a simple dish of rice and curry. She set a bowl in front of me and smiled. "I hope you enjoy~"
"Thank you for this meal," I said, clapping my hands together and bowed my head. I took a bite of the food, my mouth immediately watering from the immaculate taste of Kikyo's cooking.
Kikyo giggled as she watched me devour her cooking. "Well, I can see that you like the food~ While you eat up, I'm gonna give you some of my old clothes so you don't have to walk around in those bloodied, worn down clothes."
I nodded, watching as Kikyo left the kitchen area, heading down the halls into her room to get some of the old clothes she doesn't wear anymore. I focused on my food, finishing it up in a matter of a few moments. I got up from my seat and walked into the kitchen to wash out my bowl, feeling much better now that I was on a full stomach.
I began to walk down the hall, wanting to become more familiar with my surroundings. As I looked around, I noticed the second bedroom door was open. Peeking inside, I noticed a few clothes folded up on the bed with a note. I walked into the room, heading toward the bed and picked up the note then read it.
"Dear Hisumi,
Here are a few clothes I don't wear anymore that you can have. I also have you a few extra bras and panties just in case. I don't know your bust size, so if they don't fit, just let me know and we can go shopping tomorrow after class.
Sincerely, Kikyo Maeda."
I blushed as I read the letter, looking at the clothes and noticed the bras and panties on the bed. I picked up one of the shirts and looked at it, noticing it looked form fitting which embarrassed me even more.
Without thinking too much further into it, I decided to take a comfortable outfit and walk into the bathroom to freshen up and take a long, much needed bath. I started the warm water then noticed bath soap sitting on the edge of the tub then added a few drops in to create a nice, warm bubble bath.
Once the bath was made, I removed my clothes an got in the bath, letting out a soft sigh of pleasure and enjoyment from the warm water against my skin. I rested a towel on the top of my head and sunk down into the water.
'This is my new life now huh..? I guess I can get used to this...Becoming a Valkyria and getting revenge on Judgement. Specifically Morata and...The Commander,' I thought, the soothing bath slowing my thoughts and calming me down to the point I was becoming drowsy.
'I guess...a small nap in the bath won't hurt...' I thought, yawning softly and closing my eyes, fully relaxing in the water. 'I need this....'
Half an hour passed and I woke back up from my nap, noticing I was still in the bathtub then yawned softly, stretching and grunted as my joints popped. I decided to finally clean myself up, washing every part of my new body then got out the tub to dry off and get dressed.
After getting dressed and letting the water out of the tub, I decided to head to bed to get some sleep, needing an actual good night sleep to feel completely recharged. Walking into my new room, I I put away the clothes into an empty drawer then made my way to bed, clocking out for the night.
The night went by peacefully, my rest the most peaceful it's been longer than I could recount. Soon, the next morning arrived, the sun a natural alarm for me as the gentle rays hit against my eyes. I opened my eyes slowly, noticing I was still in bed and that everything wasn't just a dream.
I sat up in bed, letting out a soft sound and sniffed lightly. I ran my hand through my hair, slowly getting out of bed and noticed an academy uniform hanging on the dresser for me, another gift of Kikyo's from her to me.
'A St. Fraskia Academy uniform...it looks really nice,' I thought, running my fingers along the soft material of the clothing.
I decided to get ready for the day, making uo the bed then setting my uniform against it. I decided to take a bra from the dresser to see if it'll fit me. Putting it on my chest and looked down, I noticed it didn't fit me slightly.
"Am I a C Cup..? What size are these?" I asked myself, looking at the tag on the bra then rose an eyebrow. "These are B Cups... alright, guess we are going shopping after class today..."
I decided to place the bra back into the dresser and put on the rest of my clothes, buttoning my top and blazer then walked out of the room. I made my ways down the halls and into the living room where Kikyo and Yumeji were, enjoying a nice breakfast and watching some TV.
"Good morning," I greeted, walking toward the couch and sitting down next to Yumeji.
Kikyo glanced at me, a warm smile playing on her lips. "Good morning, Hisumi~"
Yumeji looked at me and smiled, looking me up and down. "And good morning to you as well~ You're lookin' goood~"
I blushed madly, averting my gaze and scratching the side of my cheek. "Th-Thanks...O-Oh and Kikyo, uhm...the bras....they uhm... they don't fit..."
Kikyo nodded at me, taking out her phone and looking at her account to see how much money she had. "Okay... alright, we can go out shopping then after classes. I probably need some new bras myself."
Yumeji smiled at us and clapped her hands together. "Shopping after classes? Count me in!~"
"Just don't blow off all your money like you did last time," Kikyo said, glancing at Yumeji with a raised eyebrow.
"Ugh, don't worry Kiki, I'm very financially responsible! I'm the—"
"Best in the world, we know," Kikyo said, slightly rolling her eyes playfully.
Yumeji smirked, puffing out her chest pridefully and smirked. "Hmph! Just as long as you know!"
I smiled at the two, enjoying their dynamic together and their bantering. I noticed Kikyo getting up, my eyes following her movements.
"It's about that time. We should had to the academy and get you registered, Hisumi. You'll probably be starting off as a D Rank despite your power level. You do have to learn to control your Spirit Energy after all," Kikyo said, grabbing her keys off the table.
"Really?" I asked, standing up from the couch.
"Don't worry, getting out of D and C Rank is incredibly easy. It's just written exams. How as far as getting out of B Rank, that's when you gotta stress! Trust me, losing to Orishi every Battle Exam gets frustrating!" Yumeji said, standing up from her spot on the couch we well.
"I mean if you say so...I just don't want to have my potential wasted..." I said softly, holding my arm and glanced between Kikyo and Yumeji.
Kikyo smiled at me, gently patting my shoulder. "Don't worry, no one's potential is ever wasted here in St. Fraskia. If you have potential, everyone here will make sure that you use it to the fullest. Now c'mon~ Let's head out and don't worry, you'll fit right in."
"Trust us, we were once D Ranks as well!~ It's super easy, just gotta put your mind to it," Yumeji said, gently patting my back as she walked by.
I watched the two walk ahead and smiled slightly. Though I was still weary and nervous, I casted those feeling aside for now to make sure to leave a good first impression on my first day. I quickly followed behind the two and began walking to the campus with them.
