"Soo what's up,Jay?Why are you here?.I didn't cook today,foodie".
"No Mara,I'm not here for food.I just came here to tell you something"I whistled into her ears.
"Let's go home then"Mara replied as we moved back from the road,uphill to her house.
"It's been years since I last came here,Mara"
"Yes Jay and that's how bad of a friend you are.The last time you came here was when we completed school".
"I remember that day,Mara"I told her.You were soo sad because you thought you would never see us after school.Kai and I had to sleep over with you in your house soo we could comfort you. But here we are.
"It's really true.I admit I felt that way back then.But trust me I don't feel that way anymore.".
"If you say so".
"Mara,today I found my Auntie"I told her.
"I thought you said you had no family members and that your parents and nanny were killed"
Yes Mara,that was what I thought.But yesterday after the party I went to sleep over at the house I used to live in with my parents.When I went there,it occurred to me that I should ask the neighbors if they saw anything suspicious before the death of my parents.
"So how is this related to the "Auntie" you're talking about?"Mara asked.
The woman who lived next house was my auntie but my mother banned her from coming close to me.
And why did your mother do that?
She did that because my dad joined an organization known as "𝔐" and "𝔐" frowned on social ties.Members could only marry and give birth,they needed to distance themselves from other family members.
And what's this "𝔐" organization?.I haven't heard of it before.
"Do you know Juan Pablo,the owner of Sand Vitna,is the head of 𝔐 organization?"I asked Mara
"Really?!!",Mara exclaimed with a shock.
"Yes he is,and they do shady businesses.We must find out their dark secrets.They might be linked to the death of my parents."I spoke with some strong determination this time.
"But how do we gain access?"Mara asked.
" Did you see the lady who danced with me yesterday?"I asked Mara.
"Yes,that gorgeous woman."Mara replied.
"She's the daughter of Juan Pablo and I'll use her as a bait.The organization is very powerful and I'll need your help and that of some other people to take them down."
"So what are you up to?"Mara demands.
Right now,my Auntie gave me someone who I can find relevant information from.
"And who is that person?"Mara asks.
"My grandmother"I replied.Auntie said she was the only one who Mother told the dark secrets of 𝔐 to.
And where can we find her?
"That's the reason why I came here.I need you to track her down"I told Mara.The only information I got was that she lived around the countryside with her maid,Pia.
Okay,then what about you?
For the meantime I'll hang around with Jade,Juan's daughter.I need to find out some clues and how I can gain entry into Juan's organization.
"Okay,let's meet after that,here in my house.But why does it seem as if we excluded Kai?"Mara asked with concern.
"Kai will help me with something else.But tell him about what I told you today if he comes by."
"Okay.But Jay,you never told me your grandmother's name"Mara said,as I tried to walk outside.
"I never asked my Auntie,how stupid of me."You know what?,Mara let's rest and start tomorrow.For now I'm going to the club to see if I can find Jade."Cook some food,I'll be staying over tonight."I told her.
"Okay,take care!!!"Mara exclaims
I moved swiftly downhill as magma flows down the volcano.
I tried to stop a car and this time around,it was "success on my first trial"."Take me to Sand Vitna"I demanded.
We got there after a few minutes and I entered the club.Today,the club was not guarded as it was yesterday.The security system was very loose and there were fewer people than I expected.
I sat down to have some few sips of my favorite wine.I waited few hours so I could see Jade but my expectations couldn't meet reality soo i decided to go back home.
As I made my way to the exit,there she came with her guards.She just got out from her car and made a dramatic entrance.It was as those seen in movies.Jade had a long hair which got motioned by the wind as she walked.Her catwalk was very iconic and the way she took her spectacles off was soo beautiful.The feeling I had while watching her was "out of the world"
"Hey handsome,I least expected you.Now,here you are."She talked boldly.
"Yes,my beautiful,I just couldn't stop thinking about you."
"Don't flatter me,I wouldn't be like my dad who fell for it".
"Really?,your dad fell for those gibberish I spoke yesterday?."That was the last thing I expected.
"Yes,he fell for it,and he even asked me to invite you for dinner tomorrow.That was the main reason why I came here,and ......I didn't even expect to see you."
"I wouldn't miss it"I said as she hugged me.I tried to kiss her on the neck but she pushed me back
"That was only for yesterday.Your freedom on that ended yesterday"She said as she turned and walked away.This time around,she really looked beautiful,she looked like Judge Kang Bitna from the kdrama series "The Judge From Hell".
I wished she was my Kang but no,she was my enemie's daughter and I would not let anything serve as a barrier to my revenge.Not even love,if that was the feeling I had right now.
