Location For The First Part Of Story

The Walton Empire is a mid-ranked empire with the State of Heis as one of its low-level, remote regions. Heis is largely wilderness, with dense forests and mountains, far from the empire's centers of power. Deep in this state lies a small, isolated city surrounded by ancient, fog-covered forests. This remote city, over 189 miles from the nearest settlement, is inhabited by a rugged, self-reliant population, including hunters, herbalists, and mystics who draw power from the forest's latent magic. Rarely visited by merchants or outsiders, it's considered insignificant by the Walton Empire, though some fear its seclusion could one day attract rebels or rogue mages.
