Smynth quickly shifted his stance, and backfipped out of the grab. And yet, his back bumped into what seemed like a wall. He looked back and he saw him: A massive golem of a guard, wearing the red, black and green colors of the Largengarten house. And when he looked in front, two more guards: one looking disheveled and sloppily wearing light armor, and a very thin, long haired man dressed lightly in what looked like mage robes.
The big guard grunted, and the guard in the center smiled and said:
"You didn't think you'd just rampage through the manse with no consequences, did you, stranger?"
"Great, this is just great Smynth, you absolute idiot. You just got caught by the guards due to your stupid overconfidence. Now you gotta get out of this one" Smynth thought, trying to disperse his initial panic. He could fight them and probably win, but who knows how many more were coming. He could bribe them, but the Largengarten family paid well and their servants were way too loyal for their own good.
And then, then the room was filled with her presence. Lady Largengarten. Why was she here? She should've been sleeping, or directing things from afar. And yet, here she was. How unusual, how absolutely hysteric, What. An. Idiot.
Smynth couldn't help but smile. This was perfect! Absolutely perfect!
