Ari's pov:
A week later, and I'm back to try on the altered dress
I put it on and it's just stunning and gorgeous
Breathtaking even.
I take a quick picture then send the balance for the dress
The boutique assistant packages the dress and hands it over .
I can't believe I have the dress. This makes it even more realistic now .
I really am getting married and to chase!!
I get home and gather my girls.
" Now that we have the dress, let's discuss wedding details."
" Right behind you, I've got the bridal shower planned and covered "
" Yh, Bachelorette party theme: Spa Day, Wine, and Dancing."
"Aww look at my girls being responsible and not bringing strippers" I cooed
" Don't be so fast to assume we don't have something for you sis, because I personally do"
"Whatever girls" I said smiling
Having my girls here , by my side I feel so grateful.
"Thanks, girls"
"Don't mention". They both chorused.
After we settled on our plans I called my mum to fill her in on everything
I call her line, nothing
I call again and she picks on the second ring
" Ma!!"
"Yea sweetie how's everything coming along?"
"Just great ma just great"
I go ahead to tell her about finally getting my dress and she squeals and I swear she sounded like a teenager.
I tell her about my bachelorette party and told her that she wasn't invited
"What do you mean I'm not invited?"
I laughed at that. " It's called bachelorette party for a reason you know"
"And?"
"There's no and mom, you're really not invited. You really are not going to come and spoil the fun."
"I'd still come"
"Well good luck finding the venue ." She chuckled
After talking about the wedding plans for over an hour I ask her about her health
" So mum you went for your check up yesterday?"
"Yes I did "
"And what did the doctor say?"
"That's a story for another day sweetie, but it's not looking too good "
"I'm sorry about that mum, you'll be fine . I know dad will put you up with the best doctors "
"Yes he will, I'm lucky to have your father just as you will be lucky to have chase with you. Congratulations again sweetie "
"Thank you so much mum!"
"Off course, any time. I have to go now, I'll talk to you soon okay?"
"Off course mom, bye for now "
I'm getting nervous as the Day draws by meanwhile my fiance has been AWOL .
I need to get to him so we can try to plan for the rehearsal dinner.
I call his number but it doesn't go through , I try again and it still doesn't.

I give up trying, apparently he's busy and would call me back. Well at least that's what his voice mail said.
So with nothing left on my to do list for the day, I run a really hot bath and settle into it . Absorbing the strawberry fragrance into my skin.
I take in a few deep breaths and reassure myself that no one's kidnapped my fiance few days to my wedding. Call me crazy but I've seen the movies and they're not friendly.
I soak in the bath tub for an hour and almost fall asleep in it.
I catch myself and get out of the bath tub towelling my body
I put on my night wear , it's not night yet but I can't see myself moving out so I dress to sleep.
I get my laptop and put on my favorite series on Netflix

One crazy series I've seen all year , I grab a few snacks from my cupboard preparing to binge watch the series.
I'm about to start when i hear my door bell ring, at the same time my phone rings.
It's chase. I rolled my eyes. He could wait yh?
I didn't make him wait
"Hii, did you suddenly remember in your fiancee?"
"I'm sorry babe, pls open the door "
"You're the one at the door?"
"Yes babe , yes babe"
And so i do and see him standing right there with the biggest, prettiest flowers a woman could ever ask for.
On the other hand , he held a basket that contained chocolates, his phone, a bottle of wine and my favorite chips! Could this man love me any more than this?
"So.. can I come in?"
"Yh sure"
"Ari? Are you saying yes to me or the goodies in my hand?"
"Oh definitely the goodies in your hand"
He smiled at me regardless, not offended .
"I know that's a lie but let's move on"
"Off course, what brought you here and where have you been?"
"I'm just going to tell you the truth babe. Remember the text I sent you yesterday? I bet you didn't see it. I was supposed to call you but I sent a text instead. And I got drunk at Godsons bachelors party. I've been down all day . I'm sorry I didn't tell you about this earlier or even the fact that I've been unavailable this period. I'm really sorry babe, I promise no other excuses"
"You promise? "
"Yes baby I do"
He does sound like he means it, in words and I'm action. Well partly, but I couldn't help but wonder who drive him home if he didn't care to call me.
"Babe?"
"Yes?"
"Who drove you home when you got drunk?"
" One of the guys that weren't drinking, there were two of them. They drove us home"
"Okay, and why did you get drunk? It's the first time I'm hearing you got drunk. Is everything okay babe? You know you could talk to me right?"
I see hesitation in his eyes but don't think on it
" I know babe but nothing's wrong. If it was, I would tell you. We're a team right? "
"Yes we are"
"Now come here I've had a really long day and I want to snuggle up with my wife, watch her favorite series "
Mmmmm, "I'd absolutely love that "
So I snuggle closer until there's no possible way to get closer enough.
