Only Anna wore a stern expression, her heart pounding with panic. How could Lord Limon claim to be her apprentice? But she knew better than to refute him.
The group continued their march towards the camp gate. The demon hunters in the front resumed their chatter, while Limon walked side by side with Anna at the rear.
"Lord... Lord..." Anna stammered, her voice barely above a whisper. There were so many questions on the tip of her tongue, but she couldn't bring herself to ask. Her face flushed a deep shade of red.
Sensing Anna's discomfort, Limon offered a gentle smile. "I've always been fascinated by medicine. You're more than qualified to be my mentor. You're off to the forest to gather herbs, and since we've crossed paths, it seems like a perfect opportunity for me to tag along. You wouldn't turn me away, would you, Anna?"
