Seeing that Lord Limon agreed, Teresa assured him with confidence, "Don't worry, sir. I'm well - acquainted with the training manual and will train the soldiers strictly in accordance with the steps laid out in it."

Limon had complete faith in Teresa. She was a reliable hand, and he knew she was more than capable of handling the task.

With a subtle sidelong glance, Limon turned his gaze to Lalana, who had been sitting quietly beside him. "Lalana," he said, "let's go for a stroll outside."

Lalana responded with a gentle smile and a nod. "Yes."

Limon had been cooped up in the tent for two days, and Lalana had kept him company throughout. Now, it was high time they got some fresh air; otherwise, their bodies would grow stiff from inactivity.

Rising from his seat, Limon helped Lalana up from her chair and took her small hand in his as they walked out.

In just over ten days, the transformation of the camp was astonishing.
