As soon as they stepped ashore, Gia hastened towards them.
"My Lord..." Gia murmured, her beautiful eyes fixed on Limon.
Limon nodded faintly and inquired, "What's the situation up there?"
Gia had been tasked with leading two hundred people, yet only over twenty were present here. Clearly, the others had been dispatched elsewhere.
"My Lord, please follow me. We can talk on the way," Gia suggested.
Under Gia's guidance, Limon and his entourage made their way towards the cliff top.
On the beach, there was a rather steep slope strewn with rocks, which served as a passage all the way to the cliff top. The path was steep, and although passable, it was quite strenuous to traverse.
Among the group, Lalana was perhaps the most carefree. She had been cradled in Limon's arms all along, so fatigue was the last thing she felt. Her small eyes darted around, taking in the natural wonders of the surroundings.
