By this time, the others at the table had only just come to their senses. Their expressions contorted with shock, and they hastily rose from their seats, eager to distance themselves from the chaos.
"Your Majesty Lalana, be on your guard!" Tatabert cried out in alarm as he caught sight of the approaching shadow during his hasty retreat.
Tatabert had noticed it, and Limon, of course, had as well.
Bounding forward with great speed, Limon leaped into the air and transformed into a blur, descending upon the shadow.
Faced with Limon's assault, the shadow was compelled to abandon its attack on Lalana and swerve to avoid the incoming blow.
