Smith Nia arrogantly walked up to the security guard and pointed her finger at James.
"This person is the infamous useless son-in-law of the Smith family. You must have heard of him, right?"
"Smith family!?"
The security guard's eyes widened suddenly. He had heard from the big shots on the mountain that the Smith family had just become the number one family in Michigan, and many second-tier families were paying tribute to them.
He vaguely heard that the Smith family had produced some important figure.
The security guard looked James up and down, and for a moment, he couldn't make up his mind. If it was the Smith family, even a son-in-law had the qualifications to go up the mountain. "Don't be surprised. Although he is the son-in-law of the Smith family, he is not from the main branch, but from the branch that was cut off."
"He has no money or power and is just a useless person. So instead of wasting your time, you might as well let us through and let us go up the mountain."
Nia looked down on James and glanced at him with disdain. This person really exuded the scent of poverty from head to toe.
Thinking of what James said when he left her house, she found it laughable now.
What did he mean by making the Hill family and other big families apologize in front of his villa? Her family had better not become the next one.
Did James really think he was that important person?
With his clothes and temperament, not even a few followers, he didn't have the slightest air of an important person!
He really couldn't even brag properly.
"By the way, darling."
Nia waved to the person outside the luxury car in the distance, "Have we found our property deed?"
"You need to hurry up. I don't want to stay here any longer. Being around this kind of trash, who knows if it will infect me with bacteria," Nia said, taking two steps further away from James as if he had a contagious disease.
She kept fanning the air in front of her nose with her hand. "Hey, security guard, didn't you hear what I said? Why are you keeping this waste here and polluting the air?"
The security guard nodded quickly and gestured towards James. "Sir, I'm sure you heard what this young lady said. Since you don't have proof that you own a house here and can't afford it, please leave with your child."
"It's not that I look down on you, it's just that the houses here are too expensive and not everyone can afford them. It's not embarrassing if you can't afford it, sir," the security guard smiled, but his disdain was not hidden in his eyes.
He really looked down on James.
Nia was right. With James's clothes and car, he didn't look like someone who could afford a villa on the mountaintop.
"What if I really can afford it?" James stared at the security guard, not moving an inch.
He really did buy a house, and as for proof, he remembered it when Nia mentioned the property certificate.
On the back seat of his car, Freya had placed a property certificate.
"Sir, are you joking? It's daytime, and you're not dreaming," the security guard continued politely.
But before he could say anything else, James directly pulled open the car door.
As the car door closed, a property certificate was slapped directly into the security guard's hand.
"Sir, what are you doing? I'm not doubting your ability to buy a house, but I don't think you can afford a house here."
"You don't understand, the houses here..."
As the security guard spoke, he picked up the property certificate and examined it. When he turned to the first page, his whole body shook and the property book almost fell to the ground.
On the property certificate were written the words "Dragon and Phoenix Villa Area, Building 1!" And below it, were the three big characters "Logan James".
Building 1! It was a piece of land that was bought by a mysterious person as soon as the Dragon and Phoenix Villa was built. It was said that the person who bought the villa was a top-notch figure in the southern Alaska. When the Hill family showed interest in purchasing it, they offered five million dollars. But when they found out the identity of the buyer, the Hill family compensated them with 1 million dollars. The reason for the compensation was that they had disturbed the big shot.
But now, this Building 1 villa had been sold, and it had been sold to the person in front of them who looked no more than thirty years old!
"This..."
The security guard's hand trembled uncontrollably as he wiped the sweat from his forehead, and he bowed naturally.
"Respected resident, hello, I am Security Guard Darell. I am here to greet you. As this is your first time moving in, if you have any questions or do not understand anything, you can press the button at the entrance of the villa, and I will be there to serve you as soon as possible."
"Our community is a luxury area, and we offer services such as transportation and shopping. If you have any needs, you can tell me at any time, and I will serve you throughout the process."
Security Guard Darell's face was full of smiles, like a lapdog.
"Can I go in now?"
James took back the property certificate and asked.
"Of course!"
Guard Darell readily agreed and gently opened the car door for James, even protecting his head in a caring manner.
As the sound of the car engine started, guard Darell maintained his respectful posture until the car drove away before he dared to straighten up.
"You're sick. How could you let that waste in!"
Just as guard Darell wiped his sweat, he heard Nia's insults.
Darell frowned and put on a polite smile again. "Miss, if you continue to insult our residents, I will call the police and have you arrested."
"This is the third time you've been rude. Three strikes and you're out."
"What do you care if he's a resident? "Nia widened her eyes, furious.
"I've already verified his documents. It's not your concern," Darell continued to smile, but his disdain was even deeper.
In his opinion, this kind of woman who caused trouble was probably one of those who couldn't afford a house. Otherwise, how could she not produce her documents?
"He showed you documents? You must be blind!" Nia continued to curse.
"Perhaps you're right," Darell smiled and politely pointed to where James had left.
"Can you show me your property certificate like the gentleman who just left, so I can be blind too?"
"You!"
Nia stomped her feet in anger and walked towards her boyfriend.
"Why is it taking you so long to find the property certificate?"
The man looked embarrassed. "Uh, I forgot to bring it..."
Actually, he didn't forget to bring it. He just didn't expect such a high-end villa area in this small town.
There are only two or three communities of this size in their capital.
"Forget to bring it?"
Nia was like an angry mother tiger, "Then why don't you go die!"
She didn't think that the man couldn't afford a house. He was a wealthy young man from a family in the capital, and she had worked hard to hook up with him.
The man's face turned black, "Nia, how dare you talk to me like that!"
