Chapter 20 - Go home

Two security guards stared arrogantly at James, as if they expected him to back down. "Who do you think you are?" Without waiting for James to speak, Freya stepped forward.

"You call yourselves something? Just because you have a five-star job, you think you're superior?" Freya's eyes were full of disdain. How unfair it was that some people were born with silver spoons in their mouths! Wasn't the military commander the leader of ten thousand troops? Had he ever treated anyone as less than human or looked down on others as if they were ants?

"You don't say, but we are superior," the security guard replied with a smirk, his head held high with pride. They usually served bigwigs from Michigan and even Alaska. These people could do millions or even billions of business with just a word, and every grain of sand that slipped through their fingers was gold.

"How ridiculous," Freya said, turning her head away, not even bothering to look at the security guard. But the security guard wasn't about to let it go. He saw that James was still crouching and talking to Nita, so he pulled out the stick he had on him. "Hey, you beggar, didn't you hear me talking to you?"

"That little beauty cursed me a few times, and I didn't care. We'll get hers later. But you, I want you to lick my feet clean. Didn't you hear me?" The security guard glared at James.

This little beauty was following James, so he wanted to see what kind of trash she was following. Besides, what was so great about a beggar?

James turned around, his eyes filled with killing intent. "I'm going to take one of your legs later."

Looking at the woman with her hands on her hips, James continued, "And one of your hands too."

"Ha, you better think about whether you can even stand up first." The woman sneered.

The security guard immediately lifted his baton and swung it at James's back. "You want my leg? I'll take yours first!"

"Stop!"

An angry voice came from the stairwell. The manager, out of breath from climbing the stairs, stared at the two security guards.

He quickly walked up to the skinny guard and slapped him without a word. "Do you want to die?"

The manager angrily snatched the baton away. These three were too bold, even he couldn't say anything in front of these two, yet they dared to attack!

He didn't know who this man was, but he knew that the girl behind him had bought this hotel for 50 million dollars. And she paid in full!

Most importantly, their boss didn't even dare to ask for a higher price and signed the contract that same night.

Such a person, how could they provoke him!

"Manager, did you hit the wrong person?" The woman who had been standing there, puzzled, asked. "These three beggars were stealing..."

"Shut up!" The manager slapped the woman's hand that was pointing at James.

Beggars?

If everyone was a beggar, then who wasn't?

The manager wiped the sweat off his forehead, bowed apologetically with a lowered head and said, "Boss, I'm sorry. I didn't manage my subordinates well, which caused your two young masters to be frightened."

The two security guards were stunned when they heard the manager's address, while the cleaning lady sat down on the ground in shock.

Boss!

The manager actually called that loudmouthed woman "boss".

Two security guards took a few steps back in fear, their backs drenched in cold sweat. They remembered what James had told them earlier. Today, they were the ones who might not be able to walk out standing.

"Scared?" James looked at the manager coldly, his eyes filled with killing intent, making the manager shiver uncontrollably. He had only seen that kind of look on murderers on TV.

"You underestimate your employees. They didn't just scare my children, they beat them up!" The manager was thunderstruck. How dare these three people do such a thing!

"I'm sorry. I'll make them apologize to the young masters and compensate them before kicking them out!" The manager promised confidently, but James shook his head.

"I'm just informing you. As for the handling, you don't need to worry about it."

"Freya, break both their legs. Break the leg that kicked my child!" James pointed at the two security guards, then turned to the old lady. "As for her, I said I wanted one of her hands."

After speaking, James brought his children closer and covered their eyes with both hands. "You don't need to watch what happens next. It's a bit bloody and not suitable for children."

The two nodded obediently, and then came a series of screams. Freya acted quickly, and the guards mental endurance was weak, so they fainted from the pain.

As the scene unfolded before him, the manager's cold sweat kept dripping. Just as he didn't know what to do, James's indifferent voice came through.

"Send them to the hospital and I'll cover the medical expenses. Then have someone clean up the place."

"As for you, being one minute late, I don't like people who are not punctual. You can leave too."

James picked up Nita and gave the order before striding towards the elevator.

The manager stood still in shock, but quickly regained his composure and didn't dare to delay any longer.

James didn't explicitly say it, but he understood. The people under his management had become like this, and James was already showing mercy by not blaming him too much.

In the military jeep

Freya was still driving, while James, Luke and Nita sat in the back seat.

Luke's face was somewhat conflicted, and several times he wanted to speak but stopped himself.

"What's the matter, just say it." James hooked his arm around Luke's shoulder and smiled.

"That... can you not say in front of Nita that we are your children in the future?"

"Nita is still young, I'm afraid she'll forget her own parents..."

Luke finished speaking and lowered he head, feeling embarrassed. It was obvious that James had saved both he and Nita's lives, so it was not appropriate to say such things.

"Hahaha."

James laughed a few times and without hesitation, agreed to his request.

"Okay, Uncle remembers."

James patted Luke's shoulder, and his eyes became deep.

Luke was afraid that Nita would forget her parents, but Luke didn't even recognize him!

The car soon stopped, and Luke saw the familiar villa through the window.

Nita couldn't wait and pushed open the car door. She ran to the front gate in three or four steps, patting the door frame with her small hands.

"Mom, Nita is back, please open the door for me."

Nita couldn't remember what Luke had said. She didn't believe that her mother would lie in bed all the time. No one would stay in one place forever.

Besides, her mother must have come back home.

The door opened and Nita rushed in.

"Mom"
