It was evening now; Adrianna got off work early and was on her way home. She takes her phone out and starts calling someone.*ring ring* "Hello?" Says the recipient. "Hey Emily, it's me, Adrianna. How's it going? Do you have time to meet tonight?" Says Adrianna."Anna! I'm doing great, and this is a pleasant surprise. Of course, I have time to meet you, send me the address, and I'll be there in an hour." Conveyed Emily."Alright, thanks. See you in an hour, bye." Said Adrianna and cut the call. Then she starts calling someone else.*ring ring* the phone rings *ring ring* "Hello, w-who is this?" Says the guy on the call nervously."Jay, It's me, Adrianna. I was hoping to meet you tonight if it's plausible." Said Adrianna in a monotonous voice."Um, sure, but when?" Asked Jay. "Within an hour, I'll text you the address." Said Adrianna and ended the call.Emily and Jay were Adrianna's and Darren's friends. They were also there when the incident happened. At the time when Adrianna was chasing down the killer six years ago, they helped her. At first, Adrianna thought maybe it was them who had killed Darren as their behavior changed drastically after he died, but she thought it was just a trauma response later on.It was now 9 p.m. and Adrianna had already reached the destination. She gave them the address of a nearby park. After a few minutes, Emily enters the park."Heyyy, it's been so long. I missed ya, but how'd you get my number?" Asked Emily."I am part of the Pittsburgh Bureau Of Police, after all. Finding the details of my old friends wasn't hard for me." Responds Adrianna with a smirk. Just then, Jay enters the park. "Um, hey." He says."What is he doing here?" Asks Emily. "Well, I called you both here for an important discussion. I need you guys to help me..again." Said Adrianna."Don't tell me it's about Darren." Says Emily."Well, Em, yeah, it is." Replies Adrianna."I'm sorry, I cannot h-help with that anymore." Say Jay as he departs."Yeah, Anna, that happened a long time ago. There's no way we'll find the real killer now." Remarked Emily as she started leaving as well."Wait, Guys! You both are the only ones who can help me, I cannot make this an official investigation. Please? Just like the old times?" Pleads Adrianna.They both pause and look at each other for a moment. "Okay-okay, but this is the last time." Responds Emily. Jay nods in agreement. "Thanks! I knew you guys wouldn't say no." Exclaimed Adrianna.But, where will we s-start our non-official investigation?" Jay asked Adrianna."At my home, of course. Just like the last time." Responded Emily."Okay then, we'll meet on Sunday; it's fixed." Declared Adrianna.They all say their farewells and go back on their ways.As Adrianna was on her way home, she felt like someone was watching her from a distance. She looked around but there was no one in sight. Being a cautious person she pulled out her gun given by her department and started walking away on high alert. Soon she reached home. But she was not aware of the presence that was following her the entire time."Well sweetheart, looks like it's time to meet again." Said the unknown guy as he walked away.
