Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 : Whispers in the Garden

Galen rode through the bustling town, his eyes looking for a familiar glimpse of blonde hair. After a long search through the shops and crowded streets, he finally spotted her sitting alone in a garden. Even from behind, her golden hairs took his breath away. He quietly dismounted his horse, stepping closer.

"You wished me to win yet didn't bother watching," he said, making her jump. She turned, surprised, and then relaxed when she saw him.

"I'm not really cut out for all this violence," she replied softly.

Galen handed her a rose. "For you, m'lady."

"Another rose?" She took it, rolling her eyes with a smile. "If I keep these, I might have enough to open a flower shop soon."

With a playful grin, he teased, "So it's not just me who wants to see you every chance I get?"

She laughed, blushing. "No, it's obviously just you."

Galen gestured to the seat beside her, and she nodded. Settling down, he asked, "If you don't enjoy the violence, why come at all?"

"To cheer up my brother. And make sure he doesn't get himself killed," she laughed lightly.

Galen found himself getting lost in her eyes, barely catching her words. "Would you stop staring at me?" she said, her cheeks pinkening.

"Well, since we don't have all day, I might as well savor every second."

"I'm sure you'll get used to my face soon enough," she teased.

Galen shook his head. "I don't think I will. Your eyes alone are like a world that would take years to explore."

She blushed deeper. "You have a way with words, sir," she murmured. "But you still don't even know my name."

"My name is Emily and your name is Galen" she said

"Really? And how did you find that out?"

"Oh, they've announced it in the arena a thousand times. 'Ser Galen of House Rosewood, the Young Rose, the finest fighter of all time.' I think even an infant knows your name by now," she laughed.

"im sure it sounds way better or does it no?" he said

"Not quite," she chuckled, and they both laughed, the comfortable silence settling around them as the sun began to set.

After a moment, they held hands, and Galen leaned closer, kissing her gently. Her cheeks warmed as his lips brushed her neck, and he gave a gentle bite, making her gasp softly.

"Ow, that hurt," she whispered, smiling. "I didn't know this rose had thorns."

"Every rose has its thorns," he said, grinning. "Mine are just a bit sharper."

Galen felt as if he could no longer restrain himself. His passion took over as he pressed her down onto the soft grass.

"Not here," she whispered. "What if someone sees?"

"Don't worry. No one will," he assured her, silencing her with a deep kiss.

They started undressing, Galen touched her and hugged her, though he seems to be in a hurry.

As Galen leaned in, their breaths mingling, she whispered softly, "Please... be gentle."

Galen smiled, his gaze tender as he brushed a strand of hair from her face. "Have I ever been anything but gentle with you?"

Her cheeks warmed, and she nodded, reassured, as he held her close, cherishing the moment with a softness that matched his words.

The rest of the world faded as they let their emotions guide them, lost in the warmth of each other.

When they finally pulled away, she looked at him, a playful glint in her eye. "You must be experienced with all this."

Galen smirked. "Well, a lot of girls want me, it's hard to ignore" he joked

Emily's smile softened as she touched his face. "I don't care about all of them. I want you to be just mine, and no one else's."

Galen's expression grew serious, his hand resting gently on hers. "Emily, you were mine, and I was yours from the moment we met."

He stood, helping her up, and smiled. "Once it's over, I'll take you to the Rosewood gardens. They're quite beautiful."

"Let me guess-filled with roses?" she asked, laughing.

He chuckled. "Of course."

As the evening settled into night, he kissed her forehead gently. "Take care, my princess."

She smiled up at him. "And you, my prince."

A beautiful union had begun, one woven with tender moments and stolen glances. But where would their fates lead them? Only time would tell what challenges and choices lay ahead for these two hearts bound together.
