While walking, Amber introduced the two to the shop.
This shop opened about half a year ago. At first, no one even knew what anime was. Therefore, Amber, the only scout knight of the Zephyr Knights, took the initiative to scout the store without hesitation. And then, it was out of control!
"So Amber, you got a shadow clone and a weapon called Teigu from this shop?" Yanfei and Xiangling couldn't believe it. Was this luck, so good?
However, when Amber continued to talk about their cavalry captain Kaeya, his face remained dark. Amber wasn't sure if it was due to bad luck, but he had reluctantly obtained an ability called Sharingan. For this reason, Amber stared at Kaeya for a while. After all, Kaeya was suspicious and had been staring at the position of his scouting knight for a long time. Fortunately, Kaeya had no interest in her seat. But Amber still had to be cautious.
In general, Amber spoke as if she was telling a story, capturing the attention of the two girls from Liyue.
"Miss Sarah also got the Yile Ramen recipe from Boss Takumi; it's just amazing!"
"Ichiraku Ramen?" There was no shortage of ramen in Liyue, but what was Yile Ramen? It couldn't be that simple to be the signature dish of a gourmet restaurant in Mond!
Xiangling was immediately intrigued. As Liyue's top chef, Xiangling's favorite thing to do was study dishes. Everyone praised the iced slime dishes she made as the best display of Chef Xiangling's identity.
However, as a well-known chef in Liyue, Xiangling was familiar with Liyue's various dishes. She didn't expect that a ramen could become the signature dish of a shop in Mond! It must have something unique about it.
Could it be that there were some spices in it that she didn't know about? Mond was known for using more onions and potatoes, with large dishes like barbecue and steak. But Liyue was known for its precision in cooking.
Therefore, there was a fundamental difference between Mond cuisine and Liyue cuisine! However, as a free city-state, Mond City attracted many business travelers. Although the number of visitors had decreased due to the Fengmolong incident, the city still had a wide variety of dishes from different regions.
If a ramen could be loved by people from so many different places, it either had a more exquisite level of production, or there was some spice in it that customers couldn't resist.
So, what spices were they? Could it be the cloudy pepper? No, Mond's people didn't seem to favor such strong flavors. While Jueyun pepper was good, it wasn't suitable for preservation; it was typically used as a dry powder.
Thinking of this, Xiangling couldn't wait to try the ramen.
After eating, she would definitely visit this magical anime shop to see if it was truly as amazing as Amber claimed.
"Let's go. Just now, we passed by the queuing place, which is Boss Takumi's Tili Tili. The Deer Hunter up ahead is our favorite restaurant, great value and great taste."
"A bowl of Yile Ramen is only 5,000 Mora!" Amber introduced with a smile.
"By the way, this is the Cat Tail Bar. Our well-known bartender Diona is here. She's a cute cat. But it's better for girls not to drink."
When Amber thought about Diona's plans to "take over Mond's wine industry," she felt a chill down her spine.
"This is the Angel's Gift Tavern. Although it's a tavern, their juice is delicious."
"Here we are, at the Deer Hunter."
Under Amber's leadership, Yanfei, Xiangling, and Guoba arrived at the Deer Hunter.
**Today's Special: Yile Ramen!**
**Price: 5,000 Mora!**
In front of the Deer Hunter restaurant, there was a signboard displaying today's special. It seemed that Yile Ramen was a rare dish and wasn't available every day. You had to make an appointment in advance if you wanted to eat it. Today, however, they were in luck, and the ramen was available.
"5,000 Mora? That's almost as much as the offal from the Central Plains near our house!" Xiangling gasped. If the price of food was high but the taste wasn't up to par, it would violate the very essence of food. At least, that's what Xiangling, as Liyue's top chef, believed.
The most basic essence of any food was to satisfy one's hunger. After that came the price, color, fragrance, and taste. If a ramen could be sold for such an expensive price, then it had to excel in all three dimensions—color, flavor, and taste. Anything less would be an insult to food and ingredients.
Soon, the three of them walked in under Amber's lead. As usual, the Deer Hunter was full of customers today.
It wasn't even dinner time yet, but the place was packed. There were many familiar faces—adventurers, residents of Mond, and some businessmen who had come to Mond for work.
"There are so many people before meal time? I want to see how the craftsmanship of this store is," said Xiangling, recalling her family's Wanmin Hall. Their restaurant was known for being affordable, unlike high-end restaurants that catered mostly to the elite.
"It's not always this busy, usually when there isn't a signature dish, there aren't so many people here," Amber said with a smile.
"You mean, they all come just for the ramen?" Yanfei asked, skeptical. "It's just a bowl of ramen. Is it really that special?"
"It's not just a bowl of ramen," Amber grinned. "Don't worry, Yanfei. You'll understand once you eat."
After more than ten minutes, they finally found a table. It was in the innermost corner by the window, and the environment was nice, just outside the main road of Mond.
Once seated, Amber waved at the waitress.
"Miss Sarah, please bring us four servings of ramen. Oh, I almost forgot about Xiangling's little friend." Amber chuckled as she patted her head.
