Chapter 106 - Chapter 106

**No, it's not night yet.**

Takumi closed the door.

There was also a sign at the door indicating that no guests would be accepted temporarily. Customers with night packages could choose to reschedule.

All customers with night packages who changed the time would receive an extra hour.

"You guys can leave now. There's nothing for you here for the time being," Takumi smiled slightly, looking at the two Knights guarding outside his shop.

Upon hearing Takumi's words, the two Knights glanced at the time, curious.

"It's only four o'clock in the afternoon. Boss Takumi is closing?" one asked.

These two Knights had been specially assigned here by **Jean** to prevent anyone from causing trouble for Takumi. They were also responsible for reporting any occurrences involving **Teigu**, the powerful artifacts, should anyone come to take them.

The senior management of the **Knights of Favonius** would have to be involved to handle such matters—probably a team leader would need to discuss the recovery of various **Teigu**, Hokage props, and other items.

"It's closed for business. I've been staying up late for a while now, and my blood pressure's been rising," Takumi explained. "Besides, there are only overnight customers in the store today. I'm going to take a stroll around Mondstadt."

After listening to Takumi, the two Knights nodded.

That made sense. Except for **Captain Jean**, they had never seen someone so dedicated. Boss Takumi had been working tirelessly, always available for service.

However, they hesitated slightly before asking cautiously, "But Boss Takumi, is it really okay to leave your small shop unattended? What if a thief comes to steal the things inside?"

Takumi smiled faintly, replying, "Don't worry, my shop isn't so easy to steal from."

He was joking, of course. The defenses of his small shop were impenetrable, and no mere thief would be able to break in.

As the owner of **Tili Tili**, Takumi knew every detail about his surroundings.

If anyone were to cause trouble in his shop, it would be no one but himself.

The two Knights, seeing Takumi's confidence, decided not to argue further. After all, it was his shop, and he knew it best. Just like the astrologer **Mona** had her powerful magic circle protecting her room, and the **Knights' Confinement Room** was heavily secured.

They had no reason to doubt Takumi's defenses.

With that, they went home to relax with their families, ending their shifts.

After Takumi left, the two Knights exchanged glances. One suddenly asked, "Should we report this to anyone? Boss Takumi's gone to the city."

"Report?" the other Knight paused, realizing that the city had not been safe recently. "I suppose we should…"

Takumi walked slowly toward the city. His primary destination at this moment? **Westwind Cathedral**.

The reason was simple: **Venti** had not shown up for work all day.

**Lumine** and **Paimon**, who usually enjoyed hanging out in his shop, were absent as well.

There was only one possible explanation—**Venti** was probably off fooling around with his sister and trying to steal the **Zither of the Sky**!

Westwind Cathedral, located in the most remote part of Mondstadt, was near the **Knights' Hall** and the **Statue of Barbatos** in the square. The statue, standing tall and solemn, resembled a god.

It was a pity that Takumi knew Barbatos all too well.

To reach the Westwind Cathedral from the eastern side of the city, one had to pass through the busy commercial street—Venti's favorite spot to sing. Then, after passing the Knights' Hall and a long corridor with a bell tower, one would finally arrive at the cathedral.

Looking from a distance, the moonlit sky over the cathedral appeared dim tonight, with only a few stars in view. It was not ideal weather.

However, just before **Lumine** emerged from the secret room of the cathedral, she could feel several eyes on her.

"Huh? Are they members of the Knights, or is it a group of **Fools**?" Takumi slowed his pace, deep in thought.

He realized that if the Knights weren't tailing him, it was most likely the **Fools**. These **Fools** had certainly benefited from his shop, and many had even seen hope for reincarnation there.

But Takumi couldn't help but wonder: why were they staring at him now?

"Why are they watching me?" he thought carefully.

Many of these people had watched anime at his shop, but they never seemed to get anything particularly useful. The best anyone had gotten was **Lady** receiving **Tu Shan's Secret Technique**: **Dou Zhuan Xing Yi**, which was more of an auxiliary skill—barely useful for her.

After all, **Lady** was covered in the flames of vengeance, with burns all over her body. The change of time and stars had little effect on her.

It was well-known that in order to extract something from anime, you needed a strong desire and enough **Mora**. Not everyone was lucky like **Amber**, and not everyone had the same level of luck as **Kaeya**.

Only by ensuring a solid foundation could you avoid random nonsense.

"Interesting," Takumi mused.

Originally, he intended to witness the scene where **Lumine** would steal the **Zither of the Sky**. But unexpectedly, he ran into a crowd of **Fools** instead.

With this new curiosity in mind, Takumi made his way to **Sarah's Deer Hunter**, ordered a few kebabs, and then turned to leave.

The streets of Mondstadt were winding. Takumi had cycled past a few places before disappearing into an alley.

"Um?" A voice called out in surprise. "Where did he go?"

"Lost him?" one of the **Fools** muttered. "This was ordered by the Counselor, and you lost him?"

"Idiots! Damn it, look around and find out where he went!" the leader barked.

Moments after Takumi's figure vanished, a group of **Fools** appeared, searching for him in the alley.

"Huh? Are you looking for me?" Takumi's voice rang out.

As they turned around, they saw Takumi descending slowly from the roof, his body surrounded by a powerful wind element.

Step by step, Takumi walked toward them.
