"The thing is that Victor I've had many failed relationships in the past. I was so vulnerable, so naive. I practically let my guard down each time and it ended up badly. I just want to be sure of this before I venture in fully. I just feel used most a times, like a sex toy.

There were so many people at the beach today since it was weekend. Vanessa was wearing a Pink bikini and tied a veil on her waist. She looked really sexy, Victor got there before the girls. He sighted them from far and went to them.
"Oh my God my baby girl is looking sumptuous damn" he said with a broad smile on his face while he looked at Vanessa lovingly.
"Thanks my love" she said and gave him a peck on the cheek.

Victor looked at her, she was wearing a white bikini pant and bra, a better part of her breasts were out. "Oh don't you look amazing too!" He said.

"Guys let's head on, I need some juice" Vanessa said.
"Go make yourselves comfy and I'll get you both some coconut juice" he said and rushed off.
" A gentle man and more" Nichole said with a smile and Vanessa smiled too while they walked to the umbrella.
He joined them later and they all had juice. They kept chatting and laughing.
"Who wants to go into the water? Babe, come on let's go" he said and Vanessa smiled.
"What! You know I'm so scared of the water right? Why don't you go with Nichole. You both have fun okay?" She said
Nichole went with him while Vanessa relaxed and had her juice.
His mum blocked his way and refused to leave the door.
"Look mum, I need to leave okay? I can't keep living in your house" he said
"Edwardo, if not for growth you know that we had always lived together, what's even wrong with that? Please stay for a few more days till you're fully alright." She insisted.
"I'm very well okay, I'll be fine on my own. Besides that's how it has been for years."
"I'm not sure I can trust you being alone anymore. I'm afraid you'd do something very stupid. Look how much harm you did to yourself some days back. look, you have to accept that Chloe is no more. Live life and move on son"
"I'll be fine mum, I promise. I have to accept that she's not coming back, I know. I loved her so much and I know I can't find a replacement for her, it hurts but I'll be fine"
"It's okay" she said and gave him a hug. "Make sure you call me anytime you feel lonely, okay? You're my only child and I can't watch you go through hard times all alone" she said with a smile on her face.
He drove off and she watched him till he left the house.
Victor took them home after the long day at the beach. They both had so much fun.
"Thanks for today, we both had a nice time. I mean it's been long since we had so much fun....plus you're such a gentleman and it's amazing my love" she said.
"Yeah yeah.....I must say that my friend is so lucky right..." Nichole smiled.
"I'm the one who's lucky, I'm lucky that Vanessa finds me worthy" he said.

She woke up with smiles and butterflies in her belly, the other day was so much fun with Victor. It made her realize more that he was the man. She knew he deserved her unconditional love and trust. She decided to pay him a surprise visit, fully ready to make love to him.
