Chapter 59 - Chapter 59: Storming into Mo Yun Sect

"So what do you want to express?" Xu Yang asked.

He Guang gritted his teeth, a hint of cruelty flashing in his eyes before quickly fading.

"So please, don't push me!"

Xu Yang sneered and suddenly raised his hand high before quickly bringing it down.

Crack! The loud slap landed solidly on He Guang's cheek.

He Guang touched his aching cheek in disbelief, his mouth opening and closing as if trying to say something but failing.

That look in his eyes gradually shifted from disbelief to sheer terror.

Xu Yang chuckled faintly. "Don't stare at me like that; I've got more things to say."

He Guang, rubbing his now-swollen cheek, suddenly backed away quickly.

"This person is powerful and cannot be opposed. Quick, go inside and call the sect ancestor."

The onlookers, whether Nascent Soul cultivators or Foundation Establishment disciples, quickly scattered into the sect to get out of harm's way.

Buzz…

At that moment, a low, deep voice echoed, and a faint black mist enveloped the Mo Yun Sect.

Xu Yang glanced at it indifferently and then ignored it.

"A Reverse Element Array for Protection? Interesting, though just a half-baked version." Xu Yang took a step forward, strolling outside the array and waving his hand in the air.

Inside the array, the people were all confused, watching Xu Yang as he pointed, seemingly doing nothing.

But as Xu Yang continued to point, the entire array began to shake, culminating in an explosive boom as it shattered like foam.

Xu Yang took a step into Mo Yun Sect and faced a stunned crowd.

"Hello there!" Xu Yang smiled warmly.

His aura surged like waves, overwhelming and bright, scattering everywhere. In an instant, several Mo Yun Sect disciples were reduced to ashes without even a chance to scream.

Several Nascent Soul elders, seeing this, attempted to stop Xu Yang but were instantly engulfed by his powerful aura.

Xu Yang had entered the Mo Yun Sect like it was unguarded territory.

No one in Mo Yun Sect could stand against him.

One figure knelt on the ground, face filled with grief, and called out, "Sect Leader, please come out! Otherwise, today, Mo Yun Sect will be finished."

With that anguished cry, a figure quickly appeared.

The figure had late-stage Nascent Soul cultivation. He wore a white robe and looked extremely aged, almost skeletal, with sunken skin stretched over bone.

Despite this, he exuded an air of vitality.

"What is it?" the old man asked, his gaze sweeping over He Guang, who was kneeling on the ground.

"Sect Leader, someone is causing trouble outside. My disciples are powerless to stop them. Please help!" He Guang, tears streaming down his face, pleaded.

"Someone causing trouble? And you cannot stop them?" the old man, Feng Yin, asked in disbelief.

A wave of his spiritual sense confirmed what He Guang had said, and then he nodded. "Understood. Follow me."

As soon as he finished speaking, Feng Yin vanished from the spot.

Meanwhile, Xu Yang was in the middle of a killing spree when suddenly, the space in front of him rippled.

An old man appeared, seemingly tearing open the space.

"Hold it right there," the old man, Feng Yin, said.

His eyes, cold and sinister, swept over the Mo Yun Sect disciples, noting the widespread carnage.

Fortunately, only ordinary disciples had been caught in the crossfire; the sect's core strength was relatively intact.

Though he was enraged, given that Xu Yang's strength remained uncertain and the damage to Mo Yun Sect was minimal, Feng Yin decided to bide his time.

Xu Yang paused, looking up at the old man and speaking calmly. "Are you the Sect Leader of Mo Yun Sect? If not, call him out. If you are, then let's have a talk."

Feng Yin sneered. "I am the Sect Leader. What do you want, young friend?"

Xu Yang chuckled coldly. "I'm giving you two choices. The first is to hand over the Flood Dragon to me, and I might spare you and your sect."

"The second is…you refuse my first demand, and I will kill everyone in Mo Yun Sect. Which one do you choose?"

Xu Yang crossed his arms, looking at Feng Yin with interest.

Feng Yin's expression darkened when he heard the mention of the Flood Dragon.

"How do you know about that?" he asked, suspicion and disbelief evident in his voice.

Xu Yang chuckled. "If you don't want people to know, you shouldn't have done it. How I know doesn't matter. Think about the two paths I just gave you. Which one do you choose?"

Feng Yin's face changed, but he suddenly sneered.

"Even if I give you the Flood Dragon, what good will that do? It's a beast with half the power of the Cave Heaven Realm. Do you think you can subdue it?"

Feng Yin was smug. While he couldn't defeat the Flood Dragon himself, he had a secret technique that allowed him to control its power in certain environments.

Even then, it had left him wounded.

"You think you can subdue the Flood Dragon? That's for me to decide. For now, just choose the path I gave you," Xu Yang said calmly.

Feng Yin's expression shifted, his indecision apparent as he looked at Xu Yang.

In his spiritual sense, Xu Yang's cultivation was still at the Qi Condensation stage…

But he knew better than to trust that. Xu Yang's cultivation was clearly just a façade.

However hard he tried, he couldn't see through Xu Yang's true power.

Xu Yang's smile widened. "It seems you've chosen the first path. Good. Then take me to see it."

Feng Yin, with a reluctant nod, led the way, taking Xu Yang through several mountains until they reached a deep, eerie valley.
