Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Meeting a Goddess

---

Amon's eyes snapped open.

For a moment, his vision was blurred, and his breath came in short gasps. His body felt heavy, yet weightless, as though he was suspended in nothingness. Panic gripped him, his heart pounded in his chest.

What happened?

His mind raced as he tried to make sense of the situation.

Wasn't I just... dead?

He tried to move, but his limbs felt strangely unresponsive. There was no ground beneath him, no sky above him, only an endless expanse of swirling colors, like a canvas smeared with cosmic paint. He opened his mouth to call out, but no sound came. His throat was dry, and there was no air.

Before he could spiral deeper into confusion, a voice, calm, soothing, yet powerful voice reached him from all directions.

"Amon."

He froze, his name echoing in the void. The voice was neither a whisper nor a shout, but something more, as though it resonated with the deepest parts of his being.

Then, before him, a figure materialized. She appeared slowly at first, her form shimmering like a figure made of light. As she came into focus, Amon's breath caught in his throat. She was... otherworldly. Her beauty was unlike anything he'd ever seen, radiant, graceful, and utterly timeless. Her eyes were a deep, mesmerizing blue, filled with ancient wisdom that seemed to look right through him.

"Who are you?" Amon finally managed to ask, his voice thick with confusion.

The woman smiled faintly. "I am Eira, the goddess of balance."

Amon stared at her, still trying to comprehend the situation. "Goddess? Balance? What... what's going on? Where am I?"

Eira's eyes softened, but her gaze remained steady. "You are between worlds, Amon. You died not long ago."

Amon's heart skipped a beat. "Died? But... how? I don't remember anything."

She nodded, as if she had expected this. "You died suddenly. It was not your time, but it is not the end of your story. I've brought you here, to this place, because I need your help."

Amon blinked. "Help? From me? Why?"

Eira's expression grew more serious, and she took a step closer to him. "When you died, I... *snatched* your soul from the afterlife."

Amon's eyes widened. "You *what*?"

"I pulled your soul into this space," she continued, her tone calm. "You are the only one who can help me. And in return, I offer you a chance to live again, though not as you were."

Amon's mind spun, trying to piece it all together. "But... why me? What do you need from me?"

Eira took a deep breath, her eyes dimming slightly. "I need you to travel through various worlds. You must gather Yin energy from women in each world, energy that can restore me."

Amon shook his head, still not fully understanding. "Yin energy? Restore you? I don't get it."

Eira's gaze became distant for a moment, as if recalling something painful. "I've suffered an... unfortunate accident. One that has left me weakened. My Yin energy has been drained, and without it, I will fade. I am not as I once was. But the energy I require can only be gathered through emotional connections, through women who hold the purest form of Yin."

Amon frowned. "You're saying I need to... what? Get energy from women? Why can't you just... I don't know... heal yourself?"

Eira sighed, the weight of her words heavy. "It is not that simple. I cannot restore my balance on my own. I need someone with the right... qualities. And you, Amon, are that person. You were chosen, whether you like it or not."

Amon's mind raced, processing everything. He had just been given a second chance at life, but the price was steep. Travel between worlds, connect with women, gather their Yin energy... It all seemed so overwhelming, and yet something inside him stirred a mix of curiosity, fear, and a strange sense of responsibility.

"And if I don't do this?" Amon asked, a quiet but serious edge to his voice.

Eira's expression darkened. "If you fail, I will fade, and with me, the balance of the worlds will shift. Chaos will follow. It is a heavy burden, but I cannot do this alone."

Amon stared at her for a long moment. The weight of her words, the gravity of the task ahead, settled into his chest like a stone. But even as uncertainty gripped him, something inside him refused to back down. He couldn't just let everything fall apart.

Finally, he took a deep breath, his voice steady. "Alright. I'll do it. I'll help you."

Eira's smile returned, softer this time, as if relieved. "Thank you, Amon. You will not regret this. The journey ahead will be difficult, but you will grow stronger for it. And along the way, you will learn more than you can imagine."

"I forgot to ask but what type of worlds are you going to send me?" Amon questioned.

"The worlds that I am going to send you is what you consider in Earth as fictional worlds. It is hard to believe but they are real, their influence radiated in your world and caused inspirations to certain people and it allowed them to write about events that happened in each world they were influenced by."

"Fear not Amon, I will not send you in such dangerous worlds without protection. I cannot give you omnipotence but I will send you in with enough power to protect yourself ,so do not be worried." Eira continued

"I will not take any more of your time and let's send you in, prepare yourself and close your eyes." Eira said as she used her power.

The space around them shimmered, and Amon felt a pull, a sense of direction. His new life was about to begin.

"I hope I don't regret this."

He whispered as a bright light took over his vision and everything went blank.
