Chapter 70: Comfort Her.
Xavier's POV
Hearing Laura's scream was terrifying, I found myself in front of her room, everything in me wanting to check if she was okay. Seeing her sitting up on the bed, I knew one thing it could be. A nightmare. All because of what she had witnessed. It wasn't fully erased in my head also and I found it difficult to close my eyes.
She was able to, but only just for some hours. I turned, seeing her okay after I exchanged a few sentences with her. I knew she would be okay, and I had to return to my room.
Entering the room, I laid on the bed, my gaze fixed on the ceiling finding it hard to sleep a wink. Then a gentle knock came on the door, it took me just seconds to open the locked door and Laura stood in front of me, in her short yellow lingerie, gnawing at me.
