Chapter 22: Sending Invitations Out
Granny Beatrice POV
After dinner, I called Xavier to my room to have a talk.
"Xavier, you should be in my room soon if you find it necessary" I said as I walked up the stairs. Of course he finds it necessary.
"Goodnight Beatrice" Laura yelled and I smiled.
"Goodnight Laura" I replied and walked to the room which I would be spending my night as prepared by my sweet daughter-in-law, can't wait to call her one. She's so sweet and so lively. The type I would have ever wanted for Xavier.
Just few minutes after I had been I the room, Xavier was also in.
"You are here" I muttered as he took his seat on the sofa in the room.
He stared at me for a while before speaking. I knew what he'd talk about so I had my mind prepared. I couldn't afford to have blood pressure rising at this age of mine.
