Olivia stood in a war room, a large wooden table in the middle. "Reports have it that they're amassing soldiers at the western part of the border, Mono."
Mono narrowed his eyes as he looked at the table, a detailed map of the two nations on it, with strongholds, cities, villages, and the such.
"Alright. They're trying to attack one of our more fortified areas? What's it consisting of?" Mono asked, and a small woman next to Olivia spoke.
The woman seemed to be a demi-human, being a mix of a falcon and a woman. She had short brown hair, wings on her back, brown-green eyes, and fair skin.
"First of all, it's a pleasure to meet you, Mono sir... Second, it appears they have mainly mages for artillery. I couldn't deduce what kind, but high chances are they're earth and fire mages." The woman said, bowing slightly.
"I see... In that case, we can release the wyverns and shielders. Have our warriors and brutes attack from the center point." Mono pointed to the central border.
He then began to drag his finger across the map, circling the lower left side of the Lunar Dynasty's territory.
"If defense proves effective, air support can start to drop down and take over nearby towns and camps without harming civilians." Mono then pointed to the eastern side.
"Since their emperor lies deep in the east, we'll send our assassination team. It'll be led by Mitove." Mono then pointed to the center.
"Our largest group will charge the center, splitting off to both East and West to encircle them. That's our strategy. Any suggestions?" He asked, looking around.
Olivia then stepped forward, everyone looking at her. "Sir. That guild that established themselves as The Seraphim's Eyes, do you know of them?"
Mono nodded. "Heard whispers. A new guild that rose from F rank to Triple A in a week or so."
"Their leader, Emopa, has offered their assistance, for a payment, of course. His fellow members didn't seem to agree but took it anyway." She said, leaning against the table.
"They'll be out eight War Powers. Nine of Static gets released. They seem to be capable enough." She said, leaning further.
"Anything for the sovereignty of our nation." Mono said, placing both his hands on the table. "Alright, meeting adjourned."
Time was dragging on, and everyone stood outside on a field. "Where are those three?" Sorra asked, looking around.
The soldiers wore standard samurai armor, though it wasn't as heavy as the ones on Earth; at least it didn't look like that.
The armor wasn't bulky; in fact, it was quite slim on them. It was more meant for mobility than actual defense.
"Don't worry, Sorra, they'll come back soon." Ulrich said, holding a bag of weapons.
"Katanas, spears, glaives! You want them? I got em! Only the best quality!" He walked around, handing weapons to the soldiers.
"Alright! Everyone, listen up!" Mono yelled, riding a black stallion.
"You will all serve this country well! Think about your wives, children, and friends!" He yelled, everyone looking at each other.
"You fight to protect them! We don't do it for glory, honor, or any of that! We fight to keep our nation safe! The War Powers will back us up. Now, are you ready to attack?" Mono yelled, raising his fist in the air.
Everyone cheered. Sorra, Ulrich, Fox, and Mara were part of the central team.
Since Sorra and Fox were more magic-related, they would split left, while Ulrich and Mara would split right, where Kyr had gone.
"CHAARRRGGEEE!" Mono yelled, everyone running and riding horses into battle.
Meanwhile, to the west, Vatel stood on the walls of a bastion, his eyes narrowed.
"Had to retreat from that fight... All I can do is hope Mareth and Emopa will be okay." He mumbled to himself.
He saw clouds of dirt getting kicked into the air, seeing an army come from the horizon.
"Oh shit!" He swiftly turned around. "Alright boys! Get ready!" He called out, the mages nodding in response as a green magic circle formed.
More circles began to layer it, the color turning yellow. "Hold it!" Vatel narrowed his eyes. "Just a little longer!"
Once they reached a certain point, he nodded. "Now!" The magic circle launched a yellow ball of light into the air.
The enemies looked up as it floated there, a beam shooting down and dragging itself across the field.
Screams could be heard as some went around, and some fell back.
"Amazing." Vatel jumped down, landing on the ground with a loud thud, causing the ground to shake a little.
"Alright, Yu!" He said, taking out his greatsword. "You ready?"
Yu's spirit manifested beside him, gripping onto his left shoulder. "You bet!"
Vatel grinned, his leg muscles tensing before he dashed off, leaving behind a small boom and kicking up some rocks into the air.
Meanwhile, Kyr was running through dense forests with the assassination squad. He wore a cloak with the hood up.
He also wore a black mask as well. He had a serious, yet maddening look in his eyes.
"Alright, fellas! We assassinate the emperor here and now!" Kyr said, the men behind him yelling, "Yes, sir!".
As they ran, the palace came into view. They began to split up, Kyr moving from building to building.
Kyr crawled up onto one of the more elevated points on the building, having to work his way down.
"Bleh..." He stuck out his tongue. He kicked the window and moved quietly through the halls.
As he moved, he felt something off. He dodged back, seeing a trident land in front of him.
"Woow! Looks like the kitty can use his instincts after all." A woman chuckled, the same woman that caught Static.
Waning Moon, Tammy Dual.
Kyr took out his two daggers. "Well... Looks like I can't get away with this one, meow."
"Father is the Emperor's primary guardian. He's out fighting, so he put me in charge!"
Kyr narrowed his eyes, getting ready to fight.
