Amelia's thoughts slowly drifted as she clinked her glass with her friends. She pictured what it would be like to have a real family with a man who loved her. A man who would always be there for her, come what may. A man who would never hurt her feelings. A man who was ready to start a family with her.
Blaze checked out some of her list, but their relationship was already defined from the beginning. It had no future even if she wanted it. She knew what she felt for him. But she doubted if he felt the same way for her even though he showed the possibility.
'Why is love so complicated? Why can't people just say how they feel without overthinking it? Why is life so unfair?' Amelia sighed inwardly.
