Amelia asked, placing the conversation on speaker mode for Blaze to hear. She held her pounding chest with one hand and the phone with the other, horror clearly written on her furrowed forehead, as she listened to Michael's quivering voice.
Blaze gestured for her to take a deep breath and calm down.
"After Sarah's airplane left the airport, she was supposed to arrive at her destination within a space of three hours or less. However, after waiting for more than five hours without a single call from her as promised, we became worried. So, Mom and Dad tried calling her severally. At first, her line was not reachable but after several trials, we were notified by the electronic voice that it was switched off, something Sarah would never do."
"Oh my god..." Amelia exclaimed.
