Blaze instantly regretted his actions, seeing the look of disgust and disappointment on his mother's face. He hurriedly stood up, picking some of the table napkins to help clean up some of the mess, starting with wiping off the spilled wine on his mother's side of the table.
"I'm sorry, Mom," Blaze said, offering her his handkerchief as she stood up, still glaring at him.
"You should be." Maria hissed, snatching the white handkerchief and wiping off the stain on her dress.
"I'm sorry too, Mom. I didn't mean to push him that far. I'm the one to be blamed and not Blaze" Henry also apologized, picking up some serviettes to clean the mess on the table.
"You both are ruffians and you should be apologizing to our guest and not me," Maria said, looking at Amelia, whose horrid gaze was still transfixed on the table.
Amelia remained frozen, too shocked to notice the oily water on the table flowing towards her direction until it started dropping on her.
