Prior to the restroom incident, Tina thought she could befriend Amelia and confide in her about the identity of her ex and his mother. She wasn't comfortable with Amelia and Maria's relationship and she wanted to draw the line before things got complicated.
However, after Amelia turned down her lunch invitation on two different occasions, Tina concluded that Amelia knew something and was intentionally avoiding her. So she paid spies to monitor all of Amelia's activities from afar and keep her steadily updated.
Consequently, when Maria showed up in front of Amelia's office, Tina was quickly alerted.
Later on, her spies trailed Maria and Amelia down to the Royal five-star restaurant. They took note of the waiter assigned to VIP room three, which had been specifically reserved for the two friends.
