Knock! Knock!! Knock!!!
Blaze was fixing the black silver cufflinks on the cuff of his shirt when a gentle tap on his bedroom door forced him to look up.
'Who could that be? Eugene?' Blaze pondered as he sauntered to the door and opened it.
"Mom!" Blaze raised his brows in surprise.
"Good morning, sweetheart." Maria Anderson, a cheerful woman in her late forties but with a youthful vigour beamed sweetly to her son. Her eyes which were like the color of the sea foam scanned him from head to toe. "Already dressed and ready to run away as usual?"
"Good morning, mom." Blaze embraced her and pressed his lips on her forehead before releasing her.
"And no, I'm not running away. I'm simply preparing for work." He made way for her to enter his bedroom before shutting the door behind her.
"At 5:10 AM?" Maria eyed her son suspiciously.
