Mr Hart finished his work and was ready to meet Giselle at the place they agreed to meet at. Giselle was already there waiting for him.
"Did you wait long?" He asked as soon as he saw her.
"No, I just got here" she smiled at him.
"You look a bit different" he scanned her body.
"So tell me. What's wrong?"
Giselle took a deep breath.
"I dad died" she simply said and raised her head to look at the stars.
"I'm so sorry. My deepest condolences" he said softly.
"I'm fine now. I guess.."
"Its funny. I'm officially an orphan now" she smiled.
Mr Hart looked at her. She saw the pain in her eyes, the one she was trying to hide with smile.
"Mr Hart? The CEO is very upset, isn't he?"
"He is. But now he isn't supposed to."
"I don't know. I hope he doesn't kill me with his eyes before firing me."
Mr Hart laughed "he won't do that. But he'll scold you a little".
"That isn't helping"
She imagined being scolded by the boss and shook her head immediately. The image alone was terrifying.
"You should come back soon"
"I'm coming tomorrow"
Surprised, "I didn't mean so soon"
"I want to. I know I have a lot to do. And Olivia...."
"Okay, I think its better. You should not be indoors and get reminded."
He stayed with her before they parted ways.

Giselle got ready.
She went to the office as early as she could. She stood at the front to the building for a while before entering.
She went to her department and was surprised to see only Olivia.
"Heya" she called first.
"Giselle. You're back. I missed you"
She hugged tight.
"Did you get into trouble?"
"Almost. But I didn't"
"That great. You're early today."
"I've been coming early to work since after my first day". She was really happy to see Giselle again.
No one was like Giselle that understood her and didn't critizise her but instead she corrected her.
Giselle went to her desk. She took a deep breath before she started typing what only she knew. Perhaps, she was doing the work she had not done for the past days.
Everyone started coming one by one.
"She's finally back" she could hear some people talking but she didn't care. She had things to do.
"Are you finally back from your vacation?" One of them mockingly asked.
"Oh, yeah. It was amazing"
She smirked at her and continued her work. She was too busy to answer anyone.
The girl that went to Giselle boldly walked back obviously speechless.
"That brat, who does she think she is?" She said as she walked out the office.
Roderick entered his office and sat in his chair. He took a deep breath before starting his work for the day.
Julian entered after him and leaned on the door watching him.
"Stop looking at me like that"
"I can't."
Roderick shook his head and focused on his work.
"She's back"
Roderick raised his head immediately.
"Giselle?"
"Who else?" He replied nonchalantly.
"Are you going to her?" He asked as he saw Roderick getting up from his chair.
"Yes. To give her a piece of my mind"
"Bro calm down. Think before you speak when you get there"
"Don't tell me what to do" he walked out.

"So, are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine" Giselle assured Olivia after telling her everything that happened.
"Everyone, the CEO'S coming" as soon as they heard the announcement, they all sat straight.
"Ms Styles" he called out as soon as he saw her.
"Oh no she is dead"
"He's gonna fire her for sure"
The employees were trying to figure out what he would do to her.
Giselle walked and stood in front of him. The tension was too much. No one dared to make a sound.
"Do you know what you did?" He sounded as cold as ever. Their eyes locked and Giselle thought she would melt at that moment.
"Answer me" he was first.
"I do" she simply replied.
She wasn't intimidated by him at all but she knew she made a mistake, that's why she was scared.
"Then tell me"
" I stopped coming to work and I didn't inform you"
"That's it?" He voice was almost a whisper.
"That's not it. You don't care about your job. You are careless. You only want to satisfy yourself. If you were tired why didn't you tell me that you wanted to quit? Do you think this job is a joke that you can play with it and do whatever you like anytime?"
"That's not what happened" Giselle was getting upset
Why would Roderick say such a thing without even asking. He just jumped into conclusion and said she ditched work.
At that moment she wanted to punch him in the face but she remained calm.
"What else could have happened? Are you sick? Dud your family member die?" His last words made Giselle clench her fist hard trying to control her anger.
At that point Roderick wasn't the only one who was angry. Infact, Giselle who kill him if he said one more word.
"Are you done?" Giselle asked him. Now all the fear has disappeared.
"What?" He couldn't believe what she asked him.
"If you are please tell me, I have things to do" she looked directly in his eyes.
"Or I'll leave first. And come back when you're back to your senses because now you sound like a lunatic" she hissed and walked away.
Olivia looked at him and shook her head.
"You really are something" she ran to Giselle. She knew Giselle was hurt by what the CEO just said. She had to calm down.
Giselle ran to the rooftop. She needed to calm down. She didn't regret say that to Roderick. He was wrong for saying those words without knowing what happened.
Olivia didn't know how Giselle felt but she knew that she was hurt and she felt lonely.
She didn't say anything but just hugged Giselle from behind.
And let's Giselle cry on her shoulder.
Meanwhile, someone was enjoying the show.
