Chapter 3 - Eating As A Family

After some time, enjoying a nice conversation together, Jason walked in on them, catching their laughter, and a smile tugged at his lips as he approached.

"I knew they'd hit it off immediately," he thought to himself.

"Now this is what I love to see—my two favorite people in the world having a nice conversation," he said as he settled next to Travis, who returned his smile.

"Oh, I guess I have to share now," Travis teased, making Mariana giggle.

"No, I'm not very good at sharing," she replied playfully, hugging Jason's arm, her smile deepening his own.

"Come on, guys. There's enough love to go around in this house," Jason said, chuckling. "So, when's dinner going to be ready?"

"It's been ready. I was just adding some finishing touches. I should probably go call Jacqueline," Mariana replied, turning to leave, but Jason gently took her hand, stopping her.

"Let's have Travis get her," he suggested. "First step to the new siblings getting to know each other."

Travis raised an eyebrow, wondering what on earth his dad had been thinking. "Bro, we're adults. She'll probably get mad at me for this and hate me forever. Which, yeah, doesn't sound very adult-like, but better safe than sorry."

"Don't worry, champ. Jacquie's a sweetheart. She won't do that. Now go," Jason encouraged.

Travis glanced at Mariana, who seemed just as unsure but couldn't argue since Jason had made up his mind.

He sighed, got up, and left the kitchen, leaving Mariana and Jason in silence.

"Honey, you know how moody Jacquie can get, right?" she asked, sitting down beside him.

"Yeah, but they're the same age. I'm sure they'll get along in no time," he said confidently.

She gave a slight nod, getting up. "If you say so."

Upstairs, Travis found himself captivated by the grandeur of the house, momentarily forgetting his task.

"Damn, it's like I'm in one of those house tour videos on TikTok," he mused.

Looking around in awe, he finally remembered his mission. Travis sighed and began knocking on doors one by one, waiting for a response.

"Man, there are so many rooms," he thought, slightly overwhelmed.

After some time, Travis heard a faint noise coming from a room at the far end of the hall. Curious, he walked over and pressed his ear to the door, listening closely. The sounds inside grew clearer—loud, chaotic sounds that almost sounded like fighting, though he couldn't quite make out what was happening. Instinctively, he assumed that Jacqueline was behind the noise.

So he knocked on the door.

Inside, a white-haired girl lay sprawled on the bed, casually munching on snacks as she watched a movie on her flat-screen TV. Jacqueline wasn't exactly dressed for company; her long, oversized shirt barely reached her thighs, and beneath it, she hadn't bothered with anything else. Her legs were spread comfortably as she lounged, fully absorbed in her movie.

'Didn't Mom say my stepbrother was supposed to arrive today? Ugh, now I've gotta go meet him. Just great… Took me forever to get used to Jason, and now I have to deal with his son,' she thought, rolling her eyes as she popped another snack into her mouth.

A knock on her door pulled her from her thoughts. Jacqueline glanced at the time and realized it was probably her cue to come downstairs. She sighed, reluctantly getting off the bed, then picked up the underwear lying on the floor and slipped it on. Hastily fixing herself up, she paused the movie and walked to the door, brushing her hair out of her face.

As she opened the door, Travis quickly took a step back, surprised. His eyes instinctively began to travel from the floor up, taking in every detail. His gaze traced the line of her bare legs, up the loose shirt skimming her thighs, until finally meeting her strikingly beautiful eyes.

"Hey, you must be Jacqueline. I'm Travis. Nice to meet you," he said, flashing a polite smile. "They asked me to call you down for dinner."

Jacqueline stood there, her gaze sweeping over him in return, assessing him from head to toe with a practiced look. She took her time, her expression unreadable as she let her eyes linger, her mind working through her first impression.

'He's handsome. Probably a bit of a playboy, judging by that confidence… But who knows, maybe I'm wrong,' she thought, arching a brow as she studied him.

"Uh, hey, yeah. Nice to meet you, too. Could you wait a moment? I'd like to get ready," she said. Before he could even respond, Jacqueline shut the door, leaving him standing awkwardly in the hallway.

'Damn, that's cold,' he thought, shaking his head with a smirk.

A minute later, she re-emerged, now with a pair of fitted pants that hugged her form. Without a word, she started down the hall, and he followed her to the kitchen, where the dining table was already set.

As they entered, Travis's eyes widened slightly at the sight of Jason and Mariana openly flirting, exchanging light touches and lingering smiles. Seeing his dad so carefree—and in such an unfamiliar way—felt strange but oddly heartwarming. He couldn't remember the last time he'd seen his dad this happy.

Jacqueline and Travis took their seats across from each other, settling in front of neatly arranged plates and utensils. The quiet clinking of silverware and the warm scent of the meal filled the air.

Jason finally turned his attention from Mariana, a warm smile spreading across his face as he looked at both of them.

"I'm sure you two have already met. Well, let's get started with dinner," he said, bowing his head to lead them in a quick prayer.

After a moment of silence, Jason looked up, his eyes glancing between Travis and Jacqueline with a hint of pride and satisfaction.

As they began to dine, Travis couldn't keep his mind from drifting back to Mariana. Every time he glanced at her, vivid memories of that night surfaced, the way her body moved under him, the soft gasps that escaped her lips, and the way she'd responded to his every touch. It was hard to look at her now without those images clouding his mind, but for his father's sake, he forced himself to keep his expression steady.

'I wonder if she's as kinky with Dad as she was with me,' he thought, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth as more flashes of that night played through his mind.

The two of them had spent the entire night in a state of raw, unrestrained passion, the kind that left no room for anything but pleasure. He couldn't deny it—it had been the best he'd ever had.

'Well, too bad I won't be able to fuck her again,' he thought with a hint of disappointment.

Or so he thought.
