Chapter 119: School Is Starting

Su Mengyao's eyes brightened at Yun Zijin's words. "So I should just accept it?"

"Sure," Yun Zijin replied softly. "That's what I would do."

Su Mengyao hovered her finger over the red envelope on her phone, then pressed to claim it. Lu Yunfeng, having sent the red envelope, had tossed his phone aside—figuring if he didn't see it claimed, he could pretend the money was never spent. Su Mengyao happily accepted the 50,000-yuan red envelope, enough to treat her girlfriends to afternoon tea.

"All done racing," Sheng Yang said, placing the snooker balls back in order. "Sister Yun, you and Su Mengyao want to play?"

Sheng Yang and Lu Yunfeng were currently free, while the rest of their companions (and a few bodyguards who didn't join in) had found other amusements.

"Let's give it a try," Zijin agreed. "But first, I need the rules. I've never played snooker, and Su Mengyao's only played nine-ball. Teach us how."

"Great. One-on-one coaching!" Sheng Yang beamed.

"Brother Sheng Yang, teach me!" Su Mengyao immediately chimed in. She wanted more alone time with him.

Lu Yunfeng shot Sheng Yang a teasing look, then turned to Zijin. "I'll teach you, Sister Yun."

After being coached, the two novices—Zijin and Su Mengyao—played a single game against each other, guided by their respective mentors. In the end, Zijin potted the final ball and narrowly won. Since it was a rare visit, no one wanted to leave too soon, so they played on until about one o'clock in the morning. Then everyone headed back to their respective homes and parted ways.

Time flew by. The charity foundation (established under Zijin's name) was now running smoothly, and the Red Star Orphanage expansion in G City was proceeding in an orderly fashion. September 1st marked both the opening of Sheng Yang's bar and the start of the new semester at Dijing University.

Accompanied by her bodyguards, Meilin, and a maid, Zijin arrived on campus with her luggage. As a senior, her re-enrollment process was simple—a brief check-in with the homeroom teacher, sign her name, and confirm she was back in school.

No rush was needed, so Zijin went straight to her dormitory, No. 0403 in Building 4 of Qingheyuan, a standard four-person room. When she opened the door, no one else was there yet.

"Miss, let me clean up first, then make the bed and put everything in place," the maid offered. She swiftly got to work, while Zijin and Meilin provided minor help. In half an hour, the maid had everything set up neatly. Such were the advantages of having a professional.

Just then, someone opened the dormitory door. It was Qin Sitong, who paused, seeing two unfamiliar girls (Meilin and the maid). Unsure if she'd entered the wrong room, she double-checked the door number. Then she noticed Zijin.

"Zijin, who are they…?" she asked. Of course, Meilin and the maid looked young enough to be students, which only added to Qin Sitong's confusion.

Zijin explained, "They're Meilin and Yiyang. They came to help me move in. They'll be leaving soon, so don't worry about them." She kept the introductions brief.

"Hi, I'm Qin Sitong—just call me Sitong," said Qin Sitong, smiling at Meilin and Yiyang.

Yiyang returned the greeting warmly. Meilin only nodded in acknowledgment, her manner cool, but Qin Sitong didn't mind.

"Ren Hui and Li Cui haven't arrived?" Qin Sitong asked, noticing their untouched beds.

"No, not yet. I'm all settled in. Actually, a friend's bar opens today—a friend near our university—so I won't be joining you for dinner. I'm heading there," Zijin replied. Sheng Yang had told her a week ago about the bar's opening, emphasizing that as a shareholder, she had to show up.

"A bar? Near campus? Can I come?" Qin Sitong asked, intrigued by anything new and local.

"Sure. It's only a test opening, so probably not too busy. But stick close to me, so I can keep you safe," Zijin said, knowing that while the bar might be calm, she still had to watch for unexpected issues.

Qin Sitong, thrilled, grinned widely. "Great! Let me put my things away later." They left for the class teacher's office to finish their check-in. After signing in, they left the teacher's building together.

"Zijin, where's this bar?" Qin Sitong asked as they walked across campus. "It's a ten-minute drive? Should we call a taxi, or maybe just an electric bike?"

Zijin smiled. "Don't worry about that. I'm driving today." She'd had her bodyguards bring the car around while she was in the teacher's office.

Indeed, they reached the parking lot, where Zero One and the others had parked a Lamborghini Sián. Qin Sitong's eyes nearly popped out at the sight of this sleek, hyper-expensive vehicle.

"Zijin, don't tell me this is your car," she whispered, heart pounding. After all, she'd seen Zijin working part-time to cover her expenses; how could she now be driving a Lamborghini after one summer?

Zijin chuckled lightly. "Congratulations, you guessed right, but there's no prize." Then she unlocked it and slid into the driver's seat.
