Chapter 1 - A Drop

"Kulkan! Watch out!" A young voice shouted.

A wild boar galloped fast and leapt towards a young male teen.

The boy stood there, shaking and did not even attempt to move an inch.

The boar's sharp and dangerous tusks were only about an inch away from the boy when a wooden spear pierced the boar's belly.

The wooden spear also had a sharpened rock attached to the top like an arrow head. It was only because of the sharpened rock they were able to pierce the boar.

*thud*

The boar fell heavily on the ground, wincing and trying to get back on its feet, or rather, hoofs.

But all efforts of the boar were futile. Several spears hit it in different parts of its body and after some minutes later, the boar was laying on the ground lifeless.

"You could have at least move out of the way!" A boy shouted like a mad man.

"Have you forgotten? He's kolön!" Another boy said.

"It's a disgrace he's a chief's son." A bald boy said.

"Hey, watch it! You can insult me all day but don't you dare insult my father." Kulkan shouted.

Kulkan was the same boy that was shaking at the sight of the boar. He's also the son of one of the chiefs of the Bambara tribe.

Teasing has become a norm for Kulkan. Also, the word 'kolon', which means useless became his other name.

He is known as the weakest and the strangest of his tribe. He's always the one to bring new ideas, which are of course considered 'useless'.

Just by looking at Kulkan, you can tell he is different.

The others will only use the skin of animals to cover their privates and sometimes just place them on their body like a cloak. But, Kulkan was an exception.

Kulkan stitched a hide into a shirt and even made shorts from the hide. Sometimes, he packs his long brown hair into a ponytail, giving him an outstanding look.

"Kulkan, let's just leave them alone." Tingo said.

Tingo was the one who told Kulkan to watch out earlier. He's a boy with dark brown hair and chiseled face. He's just as handsome as Kulkan.

Tingo is a close friend of Kulkan and sticks with Kulkan. He often defends Kulkan from the troubles of other teens in the village, since he was plenty strong.

Although Tingo teaches his friend, Kulkan how to fight, Kulkan was just not good in combat.

"We have tonight's food, let's go back to the village before those Kuvulkis ambush us." The bald boy said.

The bald boy was known as Zuma. He is also a son of a chief in the village.

"Kulkan do the honor of carrying the beast with your friend Tingo. After all, you were useless throughout the hunt." Zuma said and laughed. The other two boys with Zuma followed suit.

The other boys with Zuma were known as Naval and Kaval. The two were twins.

The twins were also close friends with Zuma. They often tease Kulkan and call him all sorts of names.

After the bickering, Tingo and Kulkan carried the beast and trekked out of the forest area with Zuma and the twins.

Minutes later, they arrived at their village.

As the five of them entered the village square carrying the boar, the inhabitants rushed out to cheer the five hunters.

"A lu lu lu lu AYI! AYI lu lu lu lu." They cheered at the top of their lungs like beasts.

If civilized people were there, they would say straight that the tribe people have gone mad. However, these people aren't mad at all. This is just their method.

After all, they are uncivilized tribal men.

The females in the tribe made sure to cook the boar that night and feed it to the villagers. They feasted on the boar and fruits that night before they went to sleep.

That night, Kulkan decided not to sleep in his hut. He needed to clear his head, so he laid outside—on the floor with his hairy companion—Bubu, the orangutan.

Without realizing, he fell asleep with Bubu by his side.

In a plane traveling faster than the speed of sound but still close to the ground, two men were sitting at the front.

One was in charge of controlling the plane, while the other was just munching all the way.

The two appeared to be military men and just successfully accomplished God knows what mission.

"Will you close the window and stop making noise with that hole of yours?" The man in control said.

"What?I need fresh air and I can't help it!" The other kept eating.

Just then, a spider dropped on the man's thigh.

"Ahhh! Get it off me!" The man shouted.

"I can't believe it. A soldier is arachnophobic." The man in control said.

The spider kept crawling on the other man's thigh and was just about to reach his pelvic region...

"Get off my d*ck!" He shouted.

As he jacked himself up, the spider flew off his thigh. However, the spider wasn't the only thing on his thigh.

A device that appears to be a mobile phone, placed on his thigh went through the window.

"Ah! F*ck it. I just got that baby from the lieutenant. Damn that spider!"

"I did tell you to close the window."

The plane kept flying, but a tiny object had dropped and was falling at an incredible speed.

Since it was nighttime, no one could see the object.

The object had successfully landed on a dark orange furred beast lying on the floor of Bambara village—beside a handsome teen. Everyone was fast asleep in Bambara village except for the warriors in charge of lookout.

Still, not even the warriors noticed the object that fell from the sky.

That night, a blessing fell into Kulkan's hands, or rather, his beast. Anyways, it's still in Kulkan's possession.

It's now up to Kulkan to use this blessing to save their tribe from trouble or cause chaos.
